Well i've seen quite alot of people using atleast 3-4 greater tenebrous enchantments in both rings, neck and various other items, is this meant to be so or is that something the dev's just didn't pay attention to?
I'm getting quite sick of being nearly killed instantly in PvP with 27K HP 1,8K Def by those CW's stacking tenebrous to no end.
For me it feels quite gambreaking in terms of PvP balance, anyone else experienced this?

So you're a dev now? It's odd that as dev you didn't fix broken problem with that last patch instead of changing the internal cooldown on each enchantment from 6 seconds to 20 seconds.. That's an odd thing to do to unintended broken enchantments instead of fixing them like you say. :rolleyes:

HORRIBLE idea...
1) It would SUCK SUCK SUCK as a weapon enchant.
2) They wont do that because people already paid to get them from lockboxes
3) People already have them socked in their gear and they wont do that either.
They HAVE already nerfed the enchant fairly hard but it still comes out as BiS for PVP... The CD on it (serverside) is 20 seconds... So with 30k HP @ 3% = 900 flat damage/20 secs = 45 DPS....
Think about that, 1 GREATER is adding 45 damage per second if procced IMMEDIATELY every 20 seconds... in PVE id take 185 more crit or arp or pwr that affects MULTIPLE attacks EVERYSECOND.
I do agree they still might need to be retuned and my idea was turning the tene damage into a DoT.
Lesser = 1% over 2 seconds.
Regular = 2% over 4 seconds
Greater = 3% over 6 seconds.
Notice the DPS is the same per tick... @30k HP each tick is 150 flat damage. Greaters just tick longer...
FYI they ALREADY removed the multi proc issue AND the CD used to be 6 seconds and now its 20 seconds.... So....
Tenebrous = winning each 1on1
Tenebrous = killing 1 of two enemies very fast, so the chance to defeat to players is much(!) higher.
Tenebrous + GF ... GF is all aout waiting for skill rotation. the internal cooldown doesnt matter at all. 1 skill rotation with tenbrous = 1 kill ... running around, blocking, next rotation = normal damage (same damage as ever other GF). 3rd rotation = kill because of tenebrous.
Tenebrous + GF is just an awesome combination. They should change tenebrous! lower ICD, lower % damage. Greater Tenebrous = 1,5% damage, ICD 6-7secs. Would be okay. Other solution: changing tenebrous to weapon enchantment only, increasing its damage and removing cooldown.
And to those, who cashshopped tenebrous: yes, they will cry... a river of tears. You know john wayne?! So many people cashshopped so much items. And after a patch and/or content update the items are useless. Its normal in MMOs. Deal with it.

Question? Was the necrotic dmg the one that ignores 50% armor? If so....
900 dmg / tene every 20 sec is not that much but when everyone have 7x tenes.... 4500 dmg is a problem.
I could not agree more. Also they are 10 times more powerful than anything else other than vorpal, so they definitely both could be nerfed down to match everything else.
Bush and Cryptic are not sure what to do with all of you without tenebrous enchantments.. :rolleyes:
