Revive Sickness - Negative Gameplay Experience

Wiping at a dungeon boss = no fun
Having to wait for Revive Sickness just makes it worse.
Obviously PWE/Cryptic can't disable Revive Sickness as it is understandably a mechanic to prevent people from reviving fallen party members continuously during a boss fight.

Here's my proposed solution:
-make campfires remove the debuff.

EASY!

I agree... if your using the camp fire, then your apparently NOT in fighting the boss any longer! Just plain annoying to say the least.

Campfire to remove the debuff just need to wait like 3 minutes or something.

Cleanse used to remove that but they nerfed Cleanse from the Cleric. I still don't agree that Cleanse should not remove that.

EDIT: I'm talking about the Death Debuff.

You know in first MMO I played When you died, you lost ALL your gear. Every single item you had on you. Your body dropped it. You had to search for your body, reclaim all your gear. TOR didn't make it any easier, charging you a fee to repair yourself everytime you were wounded. They even sent you back a few spaces or made you wait up to 10 minutes.

Considering the rest. Its far reasonable they ask us only to use an injury kit.

But in other games, there are alternatives. Generally clerics, or the healer class, has a resurrection skill. And what is wrong with being able to rez numerous times during a boss fight? Having come all that way through a dungeon to die and no longer be able to participate is pretty harsh. I have no problem with the injury kits. Those are the only cost for dying in this game, and as someone else said, other games have much dearer consequences.

As a Cleric, I prefer the twice down you're out mechanic. I don't need the group to have an excuse to just stand in any red circle that looks pretty because they are essentially immortal. Besides, some of my best memories in this game are victories in near wipes. There's nothing like doing a boss down from 50% with only one teammate left to me. And I think ending up out is a pretty good incentive to up your game next time.

I agree with OP.. The campfire should indeed remove the buff, as after a wipe it serves NO purpose other than wasting your time, which most of us have little enough of to begin with!

This is a totally reasonable request.

Yeah, the buff should be removed after 60 seconds at a camp fire.

Long enough to cut down on boss zerging, but short enough that you don't have a long wait in between boss attempts.

It doesn't need to be there at all once you have respawned at the fire... There is a barrier stopping you getting back in, there is no way to cheat this system.

Remove it 'immediately' at the fire, I see no reason not too.

Its just annoying. So youve failed and now you must wait for a meanless period of time to retry.

The costs of the kits are enough IMO
