Change Item Appearance UI

On live, when you go to the change item appearance UI it just shows the item by itself. Here on the preview server, it shows the item on your character. This is fine however it seems to come with some issues.

Capes clip through the body, making it impossible to see the full cape.

Weapons aren't showing up at all (at least for my rogue). I slot in a weapon to change it's appearance and nothing shows up in the character's hand in the window.

    Actually, the character doll view is inferior to the item view. In item view, you can get a clearer picture of how the dye will affect trim, primary, and secondary item attributes. With the character doll hunched over and moving, it's much harder to see.

    How do you get to the item view? In the current version of the patch I haven't figured out how to do that: i get the doll view most of the time, but even then it doesn't show my weapon or offhand. I'm thinking of making a weapon skin gallery and this item view sounds like it would really help.

    im having the same issue with apocurrypse, trying to dye my shield but it won't display or show the shield. Now my shield look like !@## T_T
