Option to Automatically decline trades, friend requests etc

Just a very small request, if possible, could we have an Option to automatically decline 'Trade Requests, Friend Requests, Party Requests, and Guild Requests'?

I'm a solo player, just doing my own thing and not bothering anybody, but these unwanted requests are driving me bonkers. Especially the Friend Requests, they just pop out of nowhere from people I've never even spoken to.

I know it's not a big, game breaking thing. I just think it'd be nice if at some time in the future this feature could be added to Options.

Thanks for reading.

    Hi klixan,

You can enable blocking by doing the following:
This only blocks you from Party invites .
It does not block Trade and Friend requests.
I am not sure if it works with Guild requests.

    1. Login to your character,
    2. Press O (oh) to open Social window,
    3. Click "Preferences" button located at the bottom-right corner.
    4. Once the Social Settings window opens, set:
      • "Looking For Party Mode" to "Not Looking for Party" (you will not show up in party searches, and you will automatically reject all party invites.)
      • "Search visibility" to "Invisible" (No one will see you in player/party searches, and you will show as offline in friends lists.)
    5. Log-out then Log-in again.
    6. For all your other characters, repeat steps 1 to 5.

    That's it.
    Hope this helps, cheers!

Does this work for guild invites too? If not it would be nice if that were added. Why would I want to join a guild that randomly invites people they know nothing about?

I am not sure about blocking Guild invites. I have not tested that out yet.
What I do know is that you cannot block Trade or Friend requests at the moment.
However, you can still block Party invites.

Given that most of the people doing such things that the OP asks about are not handing out freebies, exactly what are you babbling about? And as for trade requests, with all the scamming going on, no thanks

Old topic but please, cryptic, add an option to block guild invites. Not everyone wants to be in a guild, not everyone want's guild group content either. Also a 'block friend requests' would help, i'm sick of gold spammer adding me as a friend, then removing me then sending a /tell. I know there is an option to hide but then one can't be invited to groups for heroics, I have tried turning it on and off but as soon as I am visible I get /tells and friend requests from gold sellers. Thanks.

Going to close this down for necromancy. In the future please create a new thread if a topic has not been posted on in over 30 days as old threads often contain outdated information.

On that note there will be further restrictions placed on who can send friend requests in the near future which should reduce the spam.
