Dear PW,

I know we just meet I know we should be in love with each other but.... I think we need to talk about your problem with lag... I know it is too early in our relationship to be talking about such private matters but I really want this.... I really want us to work out... I would hate to have to go back to another game to enjoy my few precious moments of freedom in order to forget about my day at work with someone who has taken me to the land of stale and boring too many times.

Please understand that this is not about me... but about us...
P.S.

I included my dxdiag....in a ticket I will submit to tech support.

Tickets might get weeks to be answered atm and they'll just point you to techsupport forums. I'd encourage you to post your dxdiag here:

    http://techsupport.perfectworld.com/...ad.php?t=19551

And follow some of the advice in those forums.

Hopefully your issue will be resolved with some of the simple suggestions there, some of us aren't so lucky and still await the famed improvements.

This is what ails us and goes unanswered:

NW mismanages resources pretty badly in some systems, including mine. Basically what happens is that in 5- man DDs or Enclave FPS will drop to 5 or less, especially during battle, than climb back up. Having max or min video settings makes no difference.

IMHO, this is due to NW doing a CPU bottle-necking and little or no GPU usage. In my case CPU usage never climbs above 50% and GPU usage is super sporadic, languishing at 0%, then "spiking" to 60% or so during FPS loss. Its as if NW is deliberately trying to use a non-existent on-board graphics card instead of the dedicated one.
