Role-playing?...

Hello, I love RPG games, I've been testing this game hoping to enjoy a good role-playing experience. But the reality is that I have only found autistic players, nobody interacts, nobody answers, nobody is role playing.
They all run around here and there, going on an "adventure" to another for the sole purpose of adding quickly experience to make a "strong" character
I have 31 years, I am DUNGEON MASTER, and for a long time I even managed a dedicated server of NEVER WINTER NIGHTS.
My experience here has been quite frustrating, not what I expected.
I ask you to discuss the possibility of putting online a 100% role-playing server for people who DO want to play a character with history, background, feelings, etc.. true sharing adventures with others!!.
You currently have 3 servers of the same, I humbly ask, do one dedicated to role players or stop calling this as RPG

    There's not much in place to properly Roleplay anwyay. The History tab is broken and doesn't properly save your History, the emotes are broken and/or badly written and there is no place besides the Moonstone Mask to just sit down and talk to people (unless you'll be in the middle of the street) -- iirc, Champions Online has 'social instances', which this game should have as well.

    Couple things

    1. Find an RP guild. http://neverwinter-rp.com/ is a good start. Or here on the guild recruitment forums. Thanks to shards, random RP anywhere outside the moonstone mask is extremely hard to find unless you know when something is happening, where it is happening, and what shard it is happening on.

    2. You're extremely unlikely to find a party of roleplayers in a dungeon, even less likely to get a pug heroic that people want to RP their way through. That's just not going to happen 999,999 times out of 1,000,000. See number 1.

    3. Go to the moonstone mask.

    4. Servers are all going to be merged into one server, therefore designating a server as rp will be, quite literally, impossible unless they were to create one or two shards per zone that do not automatically zone people in, but rather people manually have to join that are labeled as RP shards for each zone in the game.

    Sorry you are frustrated, but you need to have a different mindset going on if you're going to RP in this game. :)

    I've wanted to try it..always toyed with my aging 1/2 elf ranger (then in EQ2 paladin) drinks too much but has a good heart. Chaotic good tho. Now a rogue in this game. A ranger forced to the city by the plague is my thought. Now more ALE...

    Go to the Moonstone Mask for RP. The Mindflayer shard seems to be on that has the most RPers. You may need to hang out at the Mask for a little bit, but eventually you will see some RP, then you can join in.

    I have yet to see any time of the day on any day where there aren't at least 2 people standing around in the mask RPing or waiting to RP.

    ...then again, I haven't been there myself in awhile thanks to the trolling manchildren during peak hours.

    Anyway yes, Mindflayer is the unofficial rp server for now. I figured everyone knew that by this point XD

    It's an action RPG, so you won't find much acting going on.
    It's all gonna be just one server tho, so you should just tey to find or start a guild with members interested in acting.

    Until there are "eye in the sky" real time DMs, RP will have no place in this game.
