Peoples who need everything - Solution

I was with a friend last night and while we talked, he came up with a brilliant idea.

Since peoples need for no reason, why not making it so when you need an item, it automaticly binds to you. That way peoples cant need item and sell them back on AH or trade them to someone else. Meaning there's no point in needing an item that you don't actually need.

Wouldn't that be awesome?

Thoughts and comments are welcome, hopefully this can get introduced.

You might not be aware. but you can no longer need on everything anymore. It was fixed well over a week ago now. You can only need on items you can equip.

You cannot "need" if your class cannot use it. Otherwise, all is fair game.

This is a tricky issue, but making every single drop non-tradable would severely hinder the game economy.

Also, with the new class restrictions, how do you know if the person needs it or not? Maybe they can use it on their companions? Maybe they have a friend or guildie who can use it?

One thing you could try is to party with other classes as much as possible. You can't always control it, but if you're that worried about it, you might be better off.

I see, its one of "those" threads. There is currently a 20+ page "stickied" thread. Discussing possible improvements to the loot system. Add your voice to that. This does not need its own topic if its adding nothing new.

Not all drops, only drops aquired with "need". There is no point in greeding when you can need currently.

    I like the idea.

To those who claim it was 'fixed', yes for class specific gear it was, but on duplicate class items(t2 set piece you already are wearing and need on again because it is your class), belts, rings, neck pieces all can be needed on by anyone.
