Nope, I don't love "WoW". It's just silly to see such big relevance between those 4.

I love how everyone thinks WoW invented all this stuff.
Kid, D&D and the lore it's derived from have been around for decades. Virtually everything in WoW is ripped of from Tolkien, D&D or some silly pop-culture reference. There isn't a single original idea contained within that game.
Do yourself a favor, and actually go check out the fantasy section of your local library. It'll do you a world of good.

This is it exactly...
One reason I won't play WoW or GW is because it lacks the same history as this game and others like LotRO.

I had no idea Valindra wasn't created by a D&D author who actually gave her a rather extensive background and opted to give the character to Cryptic to use in the game. *Sarcasm*
Valindra is a Lich. She is in Charge. But if that's all you're going on you're very, very far off. About as far off as calling a Jeep a Hummer because they were both designed as all terrain vehicles. If you care to actually find out more read The Pirate King, Gauntelgrym, and Neverwinter Wood.
Otherwise accept that everything WoW is completely unoriginal and has been ripped out of the pages of Mythology, Tolkien or Dungeons and Dragons lore books that were written many, many years previous. That's not necessarily a bad thing but it's horrid when the WoW generation thinks that WoW brought anything original to the table other than mechanics.
Chances are if you see something similar to a storyline or creature appearance in WoW it's because WoW stole the concepts from somewhere else.
As you touched upon the only topic which could boil my blood...
It's best to preemptively close this thread before an all out flame war occurs which is simply inevitable when making claims that classic D&D themes were actually originally created by WoW.
