As these tomes are still unavailable I still see no reason to play this game or put another cent into the market. This is just another means that Cryptic and PW is forcing players to buy their overtly priced expensive companions from the zen store.
For what is supposed to be the live release of the game and still seeing the label " Coming soon " in the game. I fail to deem the game out of beta.

Confirmed coming in latest Module 1 update. But 2-3 months too late for my tastes.
I dont know if ill survive the launch malaise, probably will, but Aug. is still aways off.
IF August, Summer isnt technically over till late Sept. - Oh, boy!
There are many things that "MUST" be in game by now, but still being "promised" (it's there in-game but can't be accessed) Multiple paragon paths is another example, it still says "more will be coming"
I mean honestly, WHEN? next year? when everyone gone?
These "broken promises" supposed to be released by the time the game out of beta, yet they're still incompleted, shame really.
I mean I don't mind if we don't get these, but WHY PROMISE PEOPLE, TEASING PEOPLE WITH WORTHLESS ICON, AND NOT DELIVER
Practically, the game as a whole in players' view is incomplete. Now this vs. expansion is a completely different story. Expansion is excusable, broken promise "coming soon" is not excusable.
I have not heard anything for modules but even so.
I still think that pretending something will come soon in game is just a greed tactic. If the only effective companions are available through buying them in the zen store. Then it enforces a pay to win scheme. The very thing Cryptic does not want to have the game labeled as. But hey, I can play other games. I can wait for Neverwinter to actually stop being in beta format.

This is still just another tactic. Watch, the prices for the tomes will be over priced for astral diamonds just like the cost of the ones to upgrade mounts. But hey, Neverwinter wants to be pay to win. Pay to enjoy most of the game.
I am glad Gary Gygax isn't around to see this. I can only imagine how he'd feel with something like Neverwinter representing the idea of D&D.

The tomes will be around the same price as the companions, they won't create any competition for the ZEN market. It is really sad that something they themselves say is necessary isn't even in at launch and will be another money grab when it comes out.
