Theorycrafting for GWF

Hi everyone, first of all i want to apologize for any mistake of language, english is not my main language.

I come here because after many search on forums/reddit/blog and other, i never found a real theorycraft guide or some really accurate builds/feats that are based on math or theorycraft.

I am a long time player of mmo, especially WoW and i was often watching and doing some theorycraft on elitistjerks and website like this.

I heard a lot of things and after thinking by myself i thought that the destroyer spec with 2/4 vigilant and 2/4 avatar was the best option for the "main" stuff.

I also read a lot about armor pen and all these things, all the posts i have seen say different things. Sometimes it said that we need 24%, sometimes it said that we need only 10% due to student of the sword and the Plague Fire enchant ...

It's really annoying to don't know what to think and to read something different at each post. I am totally aware that this game isn't WoW and doesn't have all these addons which was really helpful for testing specs and do the theorycraft but i think we can do something better than what we saw actually on Neverwinter regarding the GWF.

So for now, my questions are :
Did i miss an already complete post on theorycrafting and prooved spec of the GWF ?
If nothing exists already maybe we should start it and i ask to all of you who want to do this seriously to contact me.

I also have a question that i can't answer myself, wich of the cat and the ioun stone is the best for a DESTROYER GWF ?

And again, sorry for my english and sorry if it's a repost i really didn't find anything accurate on the GWF right now ...

I have the cat, as i like the belt slot > the icon slot for a GWF

but all in all its such a small difference..

The problem with GWF is that the Paragon path you choose makes a large difference in what your gear sets affect and how we scale the stat gains.

Recovery being nice for faster attack speeds, it doesn't add damage until you get 10pts. into Destroyer tree, due to a specific feat. We have a standard that the feat ability SoTs is of more use then stats due to the standard 21pt./10pt. distribution of our paragon tree system, as this affects us the greatest when trying to min/max any build conversion.

21/Sentinel/10destroyer ends up wanting a little bit more power if you aren't building a Threat build, the least useful stat. It however needs to be paired correctly with Critical to get our feats to work correctly. Even 34% crit is kind of on the low side for how often we want Sots up.

Going from T1 sets to T2 sets make a fairly large difference in our stat wants as well, as they begin to hit the soft-cap in some cases. Going from t2 to getting our castle never gear again changes what stats we value, as the 2-piece weapon set provides more critical, so we don't need to get as much.

GWF's get called wet noodles instead of getting cookie-cutter references, and is quite apt. The stuff you add to the noodles makes them awesome.

    http://nw-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?301761-Calculating-stats-and-their-effects

There's your basics. Now what the GWF class needs is:
    1) Power and Weapon damage coefficients for every attack (I'm actually half way through this)
    2) Base cooldowns for all encounter powers (it wont be whole numbers)
    3) Animation times for all powers and whether or not they can be canceled and still fire (like WMS)
    4) Action Point and Determination generation for all powers per target (I think Trickshaw posted Determination numbers somewhere)
    5) Max number of targets that can be hit by each power
    6) The rate Unstoppable burns through Determination, and Determinations decay timer and rate

And that's it! I look forward to seeing your results. :D
