Beautiful music?

Hey folks!

I'm looking for music for my last stage. It plays in a snug place where people are celebrating your victory. I thought that there are some folklore-like pieces of music or something, but all tracks I can select are dark and gloomy. Only positive track is that from the Protectors Enclave.

Have I missed something?

What is your method to furnish beautiful places with the right music?

    I agree, the selection of music needs a little more variety. There are only a handful of pieces that are not ominous sounding.

    I used Helm's Hold Cathedral, which is really pretty music. It seems to be a local sound though, if you get too far from the point where you placed it, you can't hear it anymore.

    I am kind of in the same position. I am looking for music to fit a dwarven tavern. All of the music is pretty dreary, or some sort of stressful boss fight music. Additionally I can't use the lute playing tavern music, it doesn't really suite the gritty and crude dwarven lifestyle. I am interested to know what your final pick will be.

    Yes, please add more music. I'm a musician myself and it pains me when the music I hear doesn't match the mood of the story or atmosphere of the adventure.

    I'd recommend looking into classical music as most people (especially gamers) are not familiar with some of the melodies. Many can be loopable with minimal music editing skill, and should be pretty cheap to buy rights or hire some poor musicians to include in the game. Here are some examples:

    I am glad that I'm not alone with my desire. :)

    In RPGs I love forrest-parts with beautiful music. Also romantic tavern-folk. Aaaaand homelike hymns for citys and villages.

    I've been trying to get "Sacred Pool" to play in one of my maps, and it never works! What gives? I thought they fixed the music.

    I have sacred pool running on mine, but it seems to be the only piece that works when I want it to lol

    If your having trouble getting the music to play there is a work around, put down a reach marker and have the music set to appear when component reached this should fix the problem for you.
