I doubt petitions are allowed, so let me just ask everyone to post and support keeping the new Moon and sky effect currently in game for a future day/night cycle.

The artist(s) who created the new effect in the sky should be commended, it looks really great!

Don't let it go to waste Cryptic! The work is already done. Maybe some light misty very high clouds to pass by now and then..

    It is nice! I vote to use it some nights! Also I ended up the ONLY person on a spawn so I trained em to the main square...nice battle under the moon with help running in as in a real invasion.. sorry to gank the thread..

    Ya, when I logged in and saw the sky change I was pretty happy. I mean, it is odd playing a "role playing" game but never having a night cycle. This is the first game of this type where there wasn't a day/night.. Just adds so much more to the game imo.. Like others said, great job.. It, like so much of the rest of this game, looks amazing!!

    I agree, a day/night cycle would help the game be MORE immersive.

    Day/night cycle on a 30 hour day so every region can experience some sunshine and some night time?

    I'm a super-cereal sucker for rain/puddles in MMOs.

    Rift had some absolutely beautiful meadows, then thunderclouds roll in and you get sun showers.. just wonderful.

    I would love a day night cycle. I didn't miss it until I started playing Dragon's Prophet and then I realized there wasn't one here. The moon over PE is absolutely gorgeous please keep it!

    Day/night cycle, yes! Off the top of my head I can't think of any MMO cept this one that lacks it.

    I personally would like to see a day and night cycle for most areas which are above ground, and maybe some weather as well. Those are merely aesthetic preferences, but it'd be awesome if it could happen.
