Hey there,

just wanted to make sure, i have read this correct :D are Gauntlgrym only available for guilds to join? its not possible to join solo, or lets say 3 players? and what about the dungeons winning/loosing unlocks, is that for guild only also?

This is not a complaining thread, just want to know if me and my RL friends should continue to play (we have no plans for joining a guild).

Realy would appreciate if someone who knows could answer me! thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure anyone can play it, but guild leaders can set their loyalty to one or the other of the PVP factions.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong...?

On the test server - yes - you MUST be in a guild. and the guild MUST choose an allegiance.

However I saw multiple guilds in the same area, thus I believe solo or small groups can form up with others to play (tho each needs to be in a guild, can be different guilds).

Dunno for sure tho, never made it in - we had 20v20 on the test, but it still never activated.. Seems it can only be done during the event window.

Thanks :) this gives me some hope (then we could make a 3 man guild, and participate)

Meeting the 'must be in a guild and a guild must be aligned to 1 faction' is required, beyond that, I have been into the 2nd phase solo (for all of about 1 min) on the test server!

But that's about it, I could not carry on as phase 3 requires a token for the T1 dungeon, and that token and a winners token for the T2 dungeon.

You need to have a guild to participate,

you do not have to queue with them,

the side your Guild leader align's your guild with is the side you will be put on, you can make a 1 person guild (get 5 ppl to sign up and kick them out) you can then queue with just you.

You will fight against 20 man premade guild all on (TS/vent/raidcall/mumble and so on) my guild is very excited to be able to que up and play guild vs guild/random's hopefully more of the latter as premade vs premade is way more fun.

so when people are describing it as 20v20 pvp + pve, and there's a large blog about how the 20v20 will work, you're asking if it's 10 v 10 like this or like that?

    To get in:
You must be in a guild
That guild must be aligned to 1 of the factions, before going to the zone.
(guild leaders must go the the 'Trade of Blades' once to align with a faction. Faction dictates which Atrium you start in [East/West])

After that it seems that the PvE & PvP parts you can wander into without being in a party, and with out anyone else being in the area, by traveling to the area & walking through the open gates in the Atrium, but you must be in a 5 man party to enter the winners/losers dungeons. (The dungeon entrances are gated & require the events finished and 'tokens' from the events to queue)

This is based on my xp on the test server, but due to it being a ghost town, I've only had limited peeks at it, today when I entered the Atrium, the PvE event was running so I had a nose around!

Getting anything done in 15mins solo isnt easy, not because the mobs are hard, but because you have to do several things, collecting timber, boulders etc., free a giant, while disposing of packs of trash!

Really. So make a guild. Only have 2 friends playing? Make a guild and then only have you and your two friends in your guild. No friends? Then make a guild, kick everyone else out, and then you are a guild of 1. Play on.

I believe you need 5 people to create a guild.

5 people over level 15 or bought Zen (via the shop not in game), but that does not stop you inviting a few in /zone to help form a guild known that they can leave/will be kicked once the 2 tasks are done.
