Does the game get more interesting?

So I did a 5 man today, the clocktower one. I play a trickster rogue and was kinda dissapointed by it.

Basicly none of us had to talk through out the whole encounter, people didn't even give me a "hi".

There was no skill involved as i was just going click-click-click on my mouse :/

And besides moving from the ocasional red circle there was little to no aditional chalanges.

Are all the instances like this? Is comunication ever required at any point in the game?

no. All the dungeons are basically the same. As long as you have the gear, a cleric or 2, a TR or 2, and a mage, nearly every dungeon (including epic) can be done w/o communication. Castle never requires a little bit of attention but no over the top communication whatsoever.

    It stays the same.

This kind of post makes me laugh - OP, did YOU ever say hi? Did YOU ever strike up a conversation or try to discuss tactics? You can't expect others to do the "heavy lifting" of getting some teamwork going on. Sometimes you gotta take matters into your own hands...

it doesnt change that much, at least to mid-high levels.

the dungeons just become more frustrating and less fun to play as you go along. it is mainly due to the amount of useless trash you have to kill, then getting to a boss who spawns wave after wave of trash. the clerics healing is generally poor because the game is designed around heal potion use and the tanks are not built to actually tank the amount of enemies that spawn for more than a brief period of time before getting beat down.

i know it sounds like i am bashing on the game, but i am really not. that is the current state of things.

i would really like to see another balance patch, but instead of just focusing on classes, put some effort into making the dungeon fights actually enjoyable.

cloak tower is the easiest dungeon out there. Wait till you get to mad dragon :P

Public group in dungeons like mad dragon can fail a lot if people don't communicate (and even if they do!)

mad dragon will be the only challenge while leveling up, and all t1's and most t2's at 60 are pretty trivial

To be fair, Mad dragon did get easier. But I agree. Its hardly fair to judge the entirety of a game based only on first and easiest starting dungeon. Especially on a new game. Folks are still getting a feel for their characters, the game, and how it all works. Cloak Tower might be the first time new players even get to group. It can be intimidating mixed with an extra helping of folks lacking confidence in their abilities. Hardly prime places to sit down and chat and get to know folks. Add to this the rush to level, the rush to get the loots, and the difficulty of typing in an action game. And you can understand why random talking is fairly rare.

That said, the dungeons do get harder. Communication, even if its simply to go over basic strategy, starts to become required.

The lvl 60 dungeons are so boring and frustrating you will want to kill yourself after doing 2~3 of them.

the game is basically an arcade version of an MMO game. Simple and repetitive. There are no complex strategies. I log on now and then to pvp or do a dungeon with friends on vent. I spend alot of hours since the open beta on my CW. Resulst is a full decked out character with 7 mil left to spend. The game offers nothing at end game to keep you motivated to play. For example Arena and Rated Battle Grounds for PvPers are a good reason to keep playing a game (just for the sense of achievement),

My advice is to play this game on the side. It's fun to log in for a hour or so for me, but that's about it really.

I can attest to the fact that nobody talks in this game (other than trade spam, that is). Even when things are going badly and you're trying to get everyone on the same page, they just sit there like they either don't know what a keyboard is for or they're too good to use it.

Is saying, "I know it sounds like i am bashing on the game, but i am really not. that is the current state of things," the new way to legitimize and make stick an opinion the differs from others? I see the same handful of people who clearly don't like the game ending posts with this line over and over and over.
