Launcher crashing

Having an issue with the launcher crashing out right after being opened, i get a white box upon running it, with an ie window behind that, then the little "this program crashed" dialog box. I've reinstalled the game, and after updating the launcher, same thing happened. Any clues to help solve this issue?

    I think i have the same problem. when i run the neverwinter.exe file the icon is stuck at the windows taskbar but nothing happens. When I click it, it does not appear on my screen.

    So apparently the Neverwinter launcher does not like to play with .net framework 4 extended... considering this didn't happen til after I had installed another game.

    same issue, worked fine until patched

    Lets hope they fix it because if we cant launch the game, we can not play it:(.
