I just lost my hard earned glory items because I sent them in the mail to my own account.
I have already used this method before and it's worked, so I did not see an issue with the process.
That is of course until I tried it today, I just spent 10k glory on items only to send it to another character.
I lost everything with no way of even getting them back. I made sure to send them to my own account,
even double checking the name before I pressed send. This is really frustrating and annoying.
I already posted this within the bug topic section of the forums, but I just wanted
to inform everyone who is trying to send themselves items to beware of this issue.
(If you are wondering why I was playing one character just to send items
to another, it's because I rather PvP with my CW since it's way easier than
playing anything else).

I've probably sent about 20 mails a day since the open beta started and never had this happen.
All of a sudden it just happened on 2 separate mails at the same exact time!
Right after todays patch!!!
Opening a support ticket did not help....

Yikes, thank you for the warning. I sent 2 Heroes in mail to same account last night. I was going to send them back later today... I think I would have cried a lot.
