Is there a reason prices are so high now? 2 weeks ago I bought a master assassin boots and chest pieces for about 40k ea. Now they are all 400k+ each.

Are people really that desp for money before gauntlegrym comes? Because I love master assassin, and I do want a full set for gauntle grym..but there is no way in HELLLLLLLLL I'm paying 800k or more for my last two pieces. Hell the epic dungeons aint even that hard.

(yes I have been farming the dungeons, just wondering why prices skyrocketed

    2 upcoming changes:
    1) roll only on things you can use makes ninja sellers less able to provide goodies.
    2) soon the items will be BOP and unavailable.

Live and learn. I saw this coming a mile off and even my level 20 has a set of epics in the vault... it had to happen sooner or later, though I expected it to happen with the double - hammer (increase level cap 5 levels, add new content and new gear drops, and the new stuff would be BOP).

Twofold reasoning why this is occurring.

The fix to some of the dungeon exploits has made it a little tougher (longer to farm) for boss dropped or chest reward items. This will drive up the price because of how the economy works. The easier something is to obtain the more of that item will start to appear on the AH and the more items that appear on the AH means prices will drop because of price wars. Now that it is more "difficult" or how it should have been all along the prices have gone back up.

Secondly the bind on pickup will cause those items that are not bound on pickup yet to raise in price because they are the only ones that are tradable to other players. Essentially they have become more rare of a commodity since later you won't be able to sell these sets of gear to other players because they will implement bound on pickup. (imo it will ruin the game)

So there ya go, two reasons why prices have gone up. Not the only reasons though, there are a few other things effecting prices.

Yep, it looks like a huge change is coming for the markets, with the proposed BoP update. I don't know if it is really a wise decision for them to make. Depending how the market shifts, it may reduce my incentive to make alts, which would pretty much eliminate my desire to purchase more character slots. This isn't really a problem for them from the view of my one account, of course, but if many people are less inclined to make alts due to gearing issues it may not be in their best interests.

The reason why prices are higher is because of the nerfs now in place and bug fixes. Ever wonder why armor prices are so high all of a sudden. It's because people can't cheat through spider temple anymore. And when it comes boss time, they can rely on double OP astral shields anymore too.

I never thought of it as cheating tbh, I thought of it as logic. Why do people like assassins creed and dishonored? Because they have choices, they can decide to go pro and rush through a bunch of enemies, or they can go the realistic approach and climb on roofs and act the part.

Same went for the dungeons, do I go through **** loads of enemies and a huge lava master that can kill me in one hit, or do I Climb up a rock pillar and avoid them. Honestly I think they should bring those back, however make it so if you fall from said pillar, you take 10k damage.

But anyway that's irrelevant, My question is answered, I don't like the answer, but meh, that's life. Thanks guys for all of your replies, and try to have a nice day

I feel like there is a big axe hanging over this game. Even before the dreadful BoP is introduced, casuals are now beginning to lose out on being able to gear their characters.

Some people are very happy about this (I don't know why) but for me, a casual player, it means I'll probably quit the game when I hit 60. The thought of running dungeons over and over and over trying to gear up, just leaves me cold (I'd rather have a root canal!).

So I'm feeling rather depressed at the moment. I love the game, but I can't see myself playing it for much longer if these proposed changes go through :(

In Assassin's Creed, did you glitch out off the map to make it to the next waypoint... Or perhaps make it so a boss would fall of the edge of the platform.

By that very same logic, I think I'll fly to work instead of driving today.
