Hi guys. Does anyone know what combat advantage exactly is? Is it a dmg boost(percentage?) or a power boost or something else? I know you can get it by flanking or stealth or some other skills maybe(other classes) and it boosts your dmg,but in what way?
combat advantage is extra damage against a target that is either not attacking you, controlled or prone or stunned etc, or you can get it from some skills (stealth, and some classes "grant" CA for a couple seconds after some hits).
The amount of extra damage depends on your CHA and feats and overall build. I do not know what the base is, I think off the top of my head its 15% + more for feats and such?? But someone else will know for sure.

Base CA bonus damage is +10%.
Cha adds additively.
The Underhanded Tactics talent adds 20% to existing combat advantage.
For example with 15 cha (+5% CA) you'd do 15% (20% of 15 = +3%) = 18% if you had that talent.

Also Combat Advantage damage is additive with Critical Severity on critical + flanking attacks, so the more and harder you crit the smaller the percentage of overall damage you're getting from Combat Advantage.

You also get combat advantage when you and a party/ally are on opposite sides on the enemy. Unfortunately, mobs also get this advantage and do more damage when flanking you.

Hmm I tested out this formula and it seems to work pretty well. Something I'm wondering though is, has the damage calculation worked like this always? Because when I tried to apply same formula for my old bleed testings, it still didn't work, but I did some fast bleed test on the test server and the formula indeed seems to work well on bleed.
There is something thought with the bleed, and I am now quite convinced that bleed has CAx2, meaning I am always getting at least 30% damage up on bleed regardless the bleed being crit or not.
Couldn't say how it used to be, I only tested it recently. 2xCA on bleed? Maybe the damage from Lashing Blade is dictating it's damage (+15% from CA) and then the bleed itself benefits from CA (plus another 15%)? That's just a guess though. ^_^

Hmm you mean that the next hit after lashing is always 2x ca? Naah this bleed thing is regardless of whatever you do, it is always there. It always has 2x CA for whatever the reason. Until it is fixed.
Something I've noticed, for example 2 hits that happen same time have stacked arp. Bleed ticking same time as you do damage with other skill adds arp to that bleed tick. I kinda think the 2xCA is just unique feature of a bleed tho.
I did bit more testing and the brutal backstab seems to work with all these formulas you gave, but deadly momentum somehow seems to give higher damage than it should. I didn't test this for that long, so I am not 100% sure if it was just random thing of having low bleeds on non-stealth ones and having high damage end bleeds on stealth crit ones.
Something I also noticed is that on live server with underhanded tactics im getting ~43% damage increase on bleed ticks, and now without that feature the bleed ticks seem to do over 10% less with 14 charisma. So if your formula is correct I should have roughly 15% CA, that x2 = 30%. Now the feat should give 20% extra = 36% total, but if this feat stacks as well for bleed, it could give then the 12% to the base 30% = 42% extra dps on bleed, this number seems close to the 43 what I got by roughly estimating the extra dps.
Now if we add the deadly momentum into this whole bloody mess, it just becomes something. The skill says to add 15% into the CS, but for some odd reason if all of the above would be correct: Crit bleed = base * ( CS + CA + 100% ) then the critical bleed damage just has higher damage than the formula can give.
For example I hit 10th stack bleed with low lvl daggers something of 127-132 non flank, non crit on test server. Flanked non crit was roughly ~170 => 170/130 = ~1.3, flank damage gave 30% extra.
Now I have 80% cs, 15% from deadly and 25% from the brutal backstab, I manage to hit crit of 357 on 10th stack bleed. Note that I didnt have Critically overrun specced. So 80+15+25 = 120% CS.
357 / ( 1.2 + 1.3 ) = 142.8, this is almost 8% over the range of the base damage I got. There is a possibility that the damage is actually in the range, by having just some super rare max value of the range.
