That was horrible... when the portal closed.. my pc grinded to a halt.... and this is a very good gaming pc with 16GB RAM.

Pretty much everyone in my guild that participated said they had lag at the end, too. Something to work on. Otherwise, I think it's a fine event. Looking forward to getting the glowing skeleton dog.
My thought is the devs never ever played their own game or tested it. Just do some programing stuff and let the ppl BURRNNNNN for playn this f2p game...
My computer is threatening me... either I stay out of PE during the event, or it'll stop booting up for me.
*sings* "I like Gammera! He's so neat!!! He is full of turtle meat!!!"
"Hah! You are doomed! You're only armed with that pathetic excuse for a musical instrument!!!" *the Savage Beast moments before Lonnehart the Bard used music to soothe him... then beat him to death with his Fat Lute*
You need to low your graphical settings for the lowest possible to not get this ****ing HAMSTER lag. The problem is, if you have custom tweaked your graphics you are going to have to do all the tweaks again in the end of this fail event.
I'm fine during the event, it's just the game lags for about 20 secs when the portals close. Don't feel like turning my settings down.
This. I don't have any issues with the AoE fest (well, graphical issues ) during the event, it's just when the portals close. Seconds per frame for no obvious reason.

My custom budget PC with 8 GB RAM and a 5 year old vid card smoothly runs through when the portal closes.
