PWEs Lax actions on banning exploiters

I was wondering how you guys can claim your banning exploiters when you can pretty much go online and watch the zone chat for anyone making a group <specifically requesting shortcut exploiters>. It's just mind boggling how this is still going on. Is it because you guys are lacking the personnel to monitor the situation or is it just pure laziness?

    1- It is merely a short cut.
    2- No one is getting hurt from it being done.
    3- 99% of people are doing it.

    Yes , banning whole server will perfectly flourish an open beta game !

    Perhaps it will. This forum has more people justifying exploits than I have ever seen in an MMO forum, and Ive seen a lot of them.

    While abusing the shortcuts is absolutely something frowned upon and not something we permit discussed on the forums I do not believe any person is being banned for using the shortcuts. This falls into the same category as pulling bosses to avoid add spawning. It's not intended but it's not something the company will punish for.

    Instead they removed virtually every shortcut with the class balance patch. There's still a couple which work that I know of and the one you're describing is actually a new one altogether but while players aren't being banned the shortcuts certainly aren't being ignored. Expect more fixes soon. ;)

    Sorry but since this is, technically, an exploit I'm going to close down the thread as it's really not something fir for discussion on the forums. If you would like though feel free to send information on any shortcuts you know of to the Community Moderators or Community Managers and the message will get relayed directly to the developers. :)
