Just tried PVP today with my Cleric.
I must say healing works very good in PVP and the contribution to the team is very clear since you win a lot if you heal, that simple.
Now, i find there arent many teams that have healers. Would be safe to say that not alot of ppl want to heal in PVP.
I found it great fun! But after around 5,6 matches i realized that you dont get "score" for healing, at all.
One match in particular was a good example where a player who disconnected 1min into the match got the same end-score as me, who healed for 10mins.
Ive PVP-healed in many MMOs and this is often how it starts off.
I hope Cryptic already knows this and plan to better incorporate healers in PVP and reward them with "score" or whatever the system for rewards is in this matter.
They said they are working on ways to make clerics score better. They had to change it last week to deter some exploiters from being bad and ruining the fun. This is just a ill fated effect of that change.
Cryptic knows about the Cleric woes. Hopefully they get on it soon and reward the divines a bit better. Game is still in a evolutionary state. Stuffs changing every week or two. I expect to see a lot more changes in the weeks to come.

sometimes when you get a selfish team, it's very sucks, I also have 2 dev Cleric character, I'm also trying to be a good healer, usually a cleric and a wizard in the first seek, probably because it is easily attacked by rogue or also because it greatly helps movement her team, PvP is like playing Roulete if you're alone, would be fun with your friends
I was also very disappointed after the new patch, the duration of the astral shield disappear faster than the previous, I really like using astral shield for self and team endurance, astral protective shield is very good when used in Divine power, though a good healer Cleric still easily killed, hopefully duration astral shield could be like the previous, I hope

Easiest solution - when you heal a player that gets a kill or assist, you get an assist too.
u can't get bloodthirsty or head hunter that way! IMO hop on the tenebrous train and go forgemaster/shield/healing word

Nice to hear that both Cryptic and other players knows and cares about this issue.
I was not aware that this worked in any different way before since this was my first attempt on PVP.
I like to go all-in on Healing so my spec doesnt really let me do any damage.
I agree on the stated about Cleric vulnerability. As soon as the rogue on the other side starts noticing your the healer; you are an easy target!
I go heal-trinity to survive those attacks;
Astral shield, Healing Word, Bastion of Health
If i can i try to get some hits in with Astral Shield+Sacred Flame
I would say that in general a PVP-Cleric would need some buffing to survivleability (tricky word) but healing might aswell get a bit de-buffed.
Im able to keep 2,3 players up against 5 players in any given fight, almost. If my Divine Armor is up its pretty much a Win.
Im not gonna say too much thou since its my first PVP-endevour :P
And the strict 5-5 games really doesnt show all the dynamics of it all.

In Warhammer Online when you get an assist it's counted as a kill for statistics like gaining titles...
