Rogues and the Foundry

I play Neverwinter for the Foundry. I started with a cleric and after reaching lvl 60 the Foundry became next to impossible for me. I was told I needed T2 gear and even then I would struggle. Since I plan on doing the Foundry exclusively, this is not an option. I just created a rogue for my Foundry character. So I am wondering at lvl 60 how does the rogue perform in the Foundry. Is it the same thing where you need all T2 gear because of the scaling for these Foundry Missions. If this is the case I will just delete the character and start over. Any thoughts?

rogues are actually quite good at doing foundry quests esp when going solo

depending on how you build your rogue (in this forum are several threads already) you can be insivible 80-100% of the time which makes it quite easy to take down enemies, though if they come in big packs of multiple mobs, then youd need good aoe which we lack

you surely dont need t2 gear at all to do foundrys at 60, PVP gear is enough, could even work with only green/blue stuff.

Awesome, thanks for the response. I just found my new Foundry character then.

When things get really hairy, I just make sure to have shadow strike and bait & switch on my bar. Between the two, you shouldn't have any aggro issues. You might have to kite a little bit waiting for cds. I'm in full pvp gear. I do have a stone which helps my stats, but that also means I don't have a companion to take aggro and give me CA when I'm not stealthed.

Check out Banelorne or the "INT Rogue" build both are high uptime stealth builds which are great for soloing. I am using Banelorne's build and with some planning can get pretty much 95% uptime on stealth.

I am using a Metzil's dps build, btw. Completely viable for solo play and MUCH better dps in dungeons. Now that we've been hit with the nerf bat, maxing dps is a bit more important.
