So I am just about to hit lvl 30 and the problem I am running into is that if the team has more than 1 CW (even just 2) I get completely and utterly shut out of being able to do anything. I can only have Unstoppable up so much because the CC chain doesnt stop long enough for me to hit it.
Is there anything that GWF can do at higher levels so that we are not just completely shut out and destroyed by ranged? Right now it feels like the CW are just about inst-killing me with huge burst and I have no idea how to stop it. I try to get to them and use Takedown or use Avalanche of Steel if I am getting focused (again only lvl 29) but it seems like I just get melted by Control Wizards.
I don't wanna be OP or I would have picked TR or CW myself but I would appreciate any advice or tips that other GWF have learned to help with this situation.

Pick your fights wisely. NEVER run head first into a CW. You're asking to die if you do. If you can, it's better to either drop down on them or come from behind. Of course, always work with your team. If you see someone dropping damage on a CW or CC'ing them, it's a good idea to sprint up and drop TD to continue the CC after theirs expires. Follow with Flourish, which you get at 30, to Restoring Strike. You should be focusing on helping other team mates out instead of going for kills since you're still a low level. Kills will come naturally when you're helping your team out. 50+ is when you can start going for kills. Don't be afraid to drop the fight and run if you know you can't win. There's plenty of pots on the map and a good team mate will usually cover your escape allowing to grab a pot, or turn and continue the fight with help.
You do get better Powers and Class Features later, just look at your power tree. In your later levels, you'll be able to burst down other classes.
seeing how your only lvl 29, a screen shot of your gear might help, if your running in greens no sockets, mix of useless stats. you will be really weak in pvp, if you have a full blue lvl28 set thats chanted, like i tried on my mage, i was 2 shotting people.

Yes, it's simple. Haven't tried Sentinel, which was suggested earlier, but there are several feats you can max to make it so you go Unstop once every 4-8 seconds, roughly. Once you get that going, learn how to use sprint properly (which requires good hand-eye most of the time), and get more damage, you'll be fine. 30 is a point when the GWF feels awful, but give it some time, you'll do fine. Slam will be a great resource later, so make sure you max it out. WMS will always hit on the second strike, so long as you hit with the first one, so keep that in mind. More than one CW means more TW is needed, in general. Lots of players want to feel like they can run through PvP without worrying about the rest of the party, but it's just not true, and critical to have good TW at 60. Two CWs is not easy, especially alone, but that's for anyone really. When your GS gets higher, you should have no problem chopping down CWs.
EDIT: Oh yeah, forgot. Steel Defense. Reduces controlling effects. Highly underrated, VERY useful. You'll find their spells much less powerful when you set it during PvP.

rock paper scissors
working as intended.
Yup, GWF and GF are the rock, CW and TR are the scissors and Clerics are mushroom.

To the OP - low lvl GWF pvp is horrible so just level up.
Seze - Rogue - Necropolis - RIFT
yeah but at 60 the rock is supposed to become a invincible killing machine.
and quite trying to pvp at low level, no mmo is pvp balanced at low level, and this game takes less than 35 hours to hit max level.
