Launcher Won't Open

So I played in the Closed Beta just fine, even played in the Open Beta for a while just fine. However, after deciding to play for reals and getting a few friends interested, I find that I cannot play.

I've read over the Launcher Issues sticky and none of those fixes worked. My issue doesn't even seem to be listed, as when I open the shortcut [Or even the .exe file directly], it does nothing. Doing so while watching Task Manager reveals the process starting, and then just disappearing. I've tried everything I can think of including reinstalling, running as Administrator, disabling firewalls, etc. But nothing seems to work. I gave my friends a copy of the game install with which to play, and none of them have had any issue, so that rules out any file corruption.

From what I can gather there must be some kind of software interaction localised to me that is preventing the game from opening, but I can't seem to find what. If anyone has this problem, or has any idea as to why this is happening, please share your knowledge!

    hey you managed to get into the game? i have the same issue i played yesterday and now it wont even open the freaking launcher...

    I am having the same issue today, I played last night before i left for work and today I tried to open the launcher but all that happens is the neverwinter n shows up on my task bar and nothing happens. Are others experiencing this and are some not?

    I have this Problem from time to time.
    If you use windows, just "change user". Even if you dont have other "users" on your PC.
    This opened my launcher :)

    I did that, i change my user, and it still didnt work

    I was able to get into the game, but once in my toon cannot do a single thing. I tried collecting my crafting rewards and just got empty dialogue boxes. I then tried to run around a bit and kept getting rubber banded back to my spawn point. I thought I might try changing characters but the button did nothing, and so did the log out button. The exit button was the only one that worked...

    I have this issue 50% of the times with windows XP
    it is ok with windows 8
