Hello,
Im playing GF tank build, and need some answers and tips :)

1. Does Holy Avenger Damage resistance work on my self?
2. Does Plague Fire work with cleave attacks? And reduce def to all units?
3. What you think is the best weapon enchantment for a tank GF?

Thanks,
And sorry for my English.

I don't know about the first question, but for the second one, Yes it does apply the debuff on everyone hit by your cleave.

For the third, I would say the Plague Fire is great if you are going DPS or Hybrid (check out Rokuthy's and Envy's guides). Hell even if you are going full tank it may be better since you can actually keep the aggro pretty well now and make the resistance bonus on your allies not that useful. Though it the Holy Avenger is cheaper and has a nice effect.

I think Lifedrinker might be good for AoE tanking, if you lack sustain. Haven't even touched tanking or the enchant, so whatever I say is just speculations. So don't take it for granted (I also play GWF failed to read the tittle properly):

Holy Avanger's seems extremely weak. 5-10-15% (lesser normal greater) chance for a 15% resistance buff with 10 sec duration and 60 second cooldown seems something you can't rely on, meaning most of the times it won't be up when you need it or take full benefit from it. Its weapon damage is not the biggest out there either, so overall i think it is weak.

Plague Fire seems a very good option, but by the time they fixed it (last patch) to not stack with other people's, its quite dependant to your group to get the maximum benefit out of it.

Lifedrinker I mentioned above dmg is rather weak (4,4% of weapon at lesser one), so the heal you get in return won't be so important. So I think it might be valid if you can hold aggro and need some little extra sustain.

I don't know about Lighting ,flaming , they seem to give a good dmg boost (especially for AoE), and might be useful for some extra threat. But I think stacking terberous enchantment on offensive slots will give you more than enough for this purpose.

I've been using a regular Lifedrinker enchant for a while now, the damage isn't great and the healing isn't great. Together however they are pretty decent.

If you are playing fairly hardcore tank (iron warrior, block a ton, agg strike for days) I dunno if I'd even bother worrying about an enchant at this point. Currently Aggravating Strike and Shield Slam do not proc weapon enchants so if you use primarily those it's pretty meh.

    Thanks all

I think i go for Plague Fire enchantment, i dont have a lot of damage to use lifedrinker. I focused on defense, deflect and recovery stats. Im doing really good in dungeons but i want make it even better.
