Things are different but not unplayable, if you are a top end player and run with a full group of the same your not gonna notice much of a difference. If you are a casual or the guy that random ques with PUGS...wellllll... your pretty much screwed unless they change something. I dont see this patch appealing to about 90+ % of the population all it is going do is create an even bigger imbalance between the people who like to game and those who love it. I havent agreed with a lot of the decisions PW/Cryptic has made with this game but I have kept silent because I have played PW games (among a lot of others) for a long time and believe it or not they know how to run a cash shop game pretty well, at least in the past. If these changes are left as they are and you make equipment BOP Im telling you this right PW/Cryptic you are going to alienate 90-95% of your customers. Ive seen all these complaints and arguments and lets not forget the white knights who defend all, but even though I know you are not reading this nor will ever see it, I just want to let you know that listening to your customers IS a good thing but trying to do EVERYTHING the 1% suggests on the forums...not so much. I personally am good either way, I game not for fame or for the riches but
because I like a challenge and also for the interaction of meeting new people. I am not in any way a hardcore gamer, I once was but having a life got in the way of that, I am however still the top 1-2%, if you want to make stuff extremely difficult to challenge me personally by all means go ahead but just be aware the couple hundred dollars I spend on this game probobly isnt going to pay all of your salaries. I can only assume that its Cryptic behind a lot of this though if Im wrong I apologize, all I can say is do what you have always done in your games, put your random boxes of chance in the cash shop with the worthwhile gear in it, and also the best pets... you know what Im talking
about, then make the same level of gear accessible to the rest of the people who dont buy your zen through endless amounts of combining and constant upgrades to armor through dungeon runs... constant new content is better than small amounts of great content. You are not a monthly sub game, leave that to those guys you cant compete, you love money, so stick to your formula that works. These words of advice fall on deaf ears and blind eyes I know that, its ok I only play cash shop games when there are no worthwhile "real" games out there, one is coming out soon though, just a heads up its gonna cost you if you dont get your employers (yeah guys thats us!) happy and
addicted to your game. Endless threats of quitting arnt going to work or be listened to so all your goodbye posts, I know you think someone is gonna be like. OHHH NOOOOZ PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE COME BACK, but guess what, wont happen, never has, never will. Maybe in 3 months you ll get an e mail that says, Dear "whateveryourgamerhandleis" noticed you havent logged in for 3 months and we REALLY want you back! Heres some tokens for some worthless stuff so you ll feel like we care even though a computer is randomly sending you this email based on the records it keeps. So ok kids, guys, gals, gentlemen, whatever you like to be called this is your heads up, good luck, the new
patch doesnt make things impossible it just makes them seem like they are for most of you, I really am sorry.
Its true, but for the majority that were already having troubles with endgame content this is gonna be extremely rough for them. I have already went through and beat all the dungeons and can see where the difficulty increased, its not impossible by any means just a little less auto pilot-ish. The amount of time and cohesivness needed to complete the dungeons that drop worthwhile loot, over 90% will never do, hate to say that but its true. If you think I am wrong even as a top player, try using your que and see how randoms perform, if 1-2 people are off there game its a no go and hours are wasted for no reason. Keep it, change it, doesnt matter to me much, just trying to give an objective opinion.
Its funny how these mmos cater to the "hardcore gamer"
They are the ones who get to end game, say they are bored, QQ all over the forums and leave. You would think by now companies would realise that and ignore them.

Its not so much the hardcore gamer its the forum warriors, if a company would just send out a ingame pop up with a quick survey 1 or 2 questions, you would see how the whole community really feels, instead a couple people will create multiple accounts on the forums and just blow them up with negative feedback, nerf this nerf that, this is too easy, this is too hard etc....People do need to be listened to to dont get me wrong, but it takes actual involvement in the game, the people that are coming out with this stuff need to actually play it to,a lot of this could have been avoided with a person of moderate intelligence testing this content before releasing. Will never happen in a game like this so you just deal with it and move on when the next game comes out.

most players don't have groups they play with, and most don't have all day long every day to play games, there should be a difficulty level setting for hard core gamers and for casual gamers and I'd say a good 80% of gamers are casual ones, but the hard core ones will gladly shell out money for their hard core play so both groups are financially worthy of separately catering to... it should also be noted that casual players will follow the hard core players, so when the hard core players move to a different game the casual players will likely end up following

There kind of is... normal mode vs. epic mode, what they could do to make this better for everyone is give a chance at the same loot for either dungeon, you would just get a guaranteed purple drop from bosses in epic vs like maybe a 20% chance in normal. It would save them a lot of customers, making dungeon gear BoP is gonna be a losing situation for them, or what you will start seeing is people clearing dungeons then bringing someone else in to loot items. Theres always a workaround.

you can edit it, just go back in and take out the spaces
