So there is no reason to farm out Glory Cap since New PvP set will only be available with new Gym tokens right?
I wonder if Glory will ever make it's way back. There is no reason to have glory currency then if Cryptic meant to create new tokens for new pvp zone that's going to be available (or highest tier PvP sets for new tokens).

This is how it works in every game, ideally they will add an incentive to run the two 5v5s. There is still a minor incentive as glory is still the fastest way to gear a fresh 60 in sets.

actually it doesn't work that way every game. Usually PvP gears are always bought with PvP currency, and PvE stuff is bought with new tokens. Sometimes there could be 2 PvP currency but i never heard of new PvP currency that comes out.
This is why they should keep PvP stuff and PvE stuff separate. It leads to PvP farming and real PvPers' days are ruined...
I actually think the pvp sets are pretty dad gum good, sure there are some pve sets, that are better, but those are the ones that are harder to aquire.

How about... current pvp gear being awesome entry lvl 60 gear?

I only have two 60's(cleric and GF), but the GF set is Power/Defense with +hp based, the Cleric set is Power/Recovery with....lifesteal.
If the cleric set swapped the lifesteal for crit, it'd be a fantastic set. If the GF set swapped the +hp for crit/armor penetration, it'd be ok too. Both sets suffer from far, far too many utility enchant slots and not nearly enough offense or defense slots.
Neither set is particularly good for its purpose. Cleric set is good for sustained healing, not burst healing. GF set is one of the most "pure" tanking sets up purples in the game. Sustained heals and tanking do somewhere between take up room that could be DPS and nothing at all in PvP. Ironically, the T1 PvE sets are better for overall "bursty" use, if the two where inverted they'd probably make sense.

Good riddance at this point.....

Basically only good for whatever it's made for.
Like how you can't use lion seals to get drake seal items, etc.

Can't you freely farm Gym tokens now via PvP? so T2 PvP set will be new entry lvl 60 gear? Why farm T1 pvp set when u can farm T2 pvp set?
