Theory-crafting Damage Analysis (3 respec's used) - Feedback wanted

Hey Guys,

I spent some time, and money, last night re-speccing 3 different times to get specific damage numbers using a single crystal dagger in my mainhand (319-319 damage) for consistency. I recorded damage numbers for Lashing, Dazing, and Sly Flourish. I noted down my power, crit, and severity. I also added in crits and overrun critical damages for each (when available). Lastly, I changed between STR and CHA build, keeping max DEX, to show differences. The spec's used are at the bottom of the spreadsheet.

Comparing column D with L you can see that STR build seems to put out a lot more damage even with stealth (combat advantage).

https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0ArCq7TKdw205dFlIV0dxOS1DeF94djVZWGRnWGJNU1E&usp=sharing

Columns E through L is a progression of the build comparing damaging along the way. Starting with stats, then making the build up to discipline of strength 1/3. Etc.... just showing the difference in damage per point of each.

Thanks,
Ambit

3% missing was skillful infiltrator not on my bar b/c of the full respec. It had stealth + first strike.

This confirms my suspicion that STR is typically better than CHA, even with combat advantage factored in. The part I found most interesting is the data on the impact of Scoundrel Training vs. Discipline of Strength on damage:

A lot of people just get 3/3 in ST and then dump the leftover 2/3 in DoS, but I think your data shows pretty clearly that going 3/3 in DoS and 2/3 in ST is better for an STR build, which your data suggests is the best build. While you'll lose roughly 4 damage (.75% decrease) on your Sly Flourish this way, you gain 100 damage (2.08% increase) on your Lashing Blade crits - A good trade off IMO.

    Really good work.

I just start with the theorycrafting, i have seen you have choose the executioner and you didnt try out the scoundrel, this means had been prove that is better the executioner?
