When I start my client, it shows up on my taskbar, and when I hover over it the preview comes up per usual, however it won't show on my screen. I can't log in or hit play with it doing this. Anyone know what might be causing this?
When you start the client it will move into your taskbar, but not appear in your monitor. Your computer still thinks it is open however, so enter your password (just type it on your keyboard) and then hit the enter button. The launcher should either start playing the game or begin updating. That's the best "fix" I have for this right now until the devs fix it.

This doesn't work because you still have to click the play button.

I've done this. It still doesn't show up on my monitor even though it's on my task bar.

you dont really need to click the play button, after the game patches, you can start it straight from the GameClient.exe in the Live folder
But you don't, that's why you hit the enter button. Provided the launcher is selected, hitting enter "clicks" the play button.
