just wanted to know the best pet for a tanking GF.

    cleric the heal the cleric pet does has a 30 second CD and it heals for 20% of your HP over 10 seconds making it in early levels more effective than an actual cleric and while it loses that edge 20% of your HP every 30 seconds isnt exactly something to complain about yes? however for soloing you might want a sorc or a dog just for dps tho a cleric pet does make you near immortal while soloing

    At level 60 the Ion stone or Cat are the only choices.

    Early on, if you didn't put money in the game, the cleric.
    Once you reach end game and can afford it, or if you put money into the game before that, the Ioun Stone Of Allure is the best pet for any class.
