The rise of Life Steal!

I was rather sad when they nerfed AS as soon as I was about to hit 60 on mine but I have not even noticed the change on my CW as I have been stacking Life Steal and have the weapon enchant for it as well. I am currently sitting at 17% and almost don't even need a DC and never need to use pots. At this point all I see people doing is stacking a bunch of life steal and heroics will go back to being EZmode....

Life steal is good for those with plenty of dps to make the ticks from life steal even approach worthwhile, and that constantly get the chance to make the most of it, not all have that unfortunately. Its great for TR (who in most cases were already stacking it i think) and to some extent CW but I don't think GF, GWF or DC fit the mould.

As I said, I am stacking it on my CW... In groups a CW using control spells will do a considerable amount of AoE damage. At 17% I receive a TON of healing, enough to never need to stand in Astral Shield. I agree that this would not work well with GF or DC but with a GF's typically higher health pool that Regen would work quite nicely when stacked. At this point though its pretty easy to get T1 equivalent gear cheap to try it out. Besides, if they don't buff DC heals, what other options do we have?

I would think it would work quite well for GWF's. They deal out primarily AOE damage, and they should deal out more of it now post patch
