Invite to group without adding to friend's list?

How do you invite to group without adding to friend's list. I right click name and that never works for me. Sure I can invite if they are guild mates, but not everyone is a guild mate. And, I don't want to add everyone as a friend. Is there another way that I am missing?

    You can invite by typing: /invite <player's name>

    That might be helpful if there was a way to copy/paste a persons full name. The full name is needed for invite and the full name is only shown if you hover over / click the persons shortened name.

    I also found it very difficult to invite people to a group. Some people have really crazy names. Being able to click invite would be a god send.

    send them a tell first, to get them into your circle (or your -known to the autocomplete- list)

    After that you can do /invite - then start typing their name, the autocomplete should show it pop up above - hit up, then return twice to invite.

    Go to social tab, go to find person tab. Type the persons name in and search. Just the name not the handle.

    Still doesn't beat a "Invite to Group" button on the context menu. That would be tops.

    Thanks for the tips on the group invite. Is there a wish list that devs actually read? We need to add "invite to group" to the right click option in chat.
