So with the changes has anyone looked into the weapon and armor enchants?

I'm curious about Briairtwine vs Soulforge

and

Lifedrinker vs Plague Fire.

Lifedrinker is utterly bad (it's % of your weapon dmg)
Soulforged is really hard to replace as it's very strong and especially if you'r using that same armor in PvP.

I find the damage return from the Briartwine enchantment barely noticeable when compared to the Soulforged enchantment and it's life saving effect, be it in dungeons or PvP. Bear in mind that Briartwine seems to proc the Tenebrous and lifedrinker enchantment though !

Briartwine doesn't proc Lifedrinker - I've just tested this several times and unfortunately it's a no go. It does proc Tenebrous however.

I'd be curious if Briartwine procs any Weapon Enchantment.

I'd guess not - it didn't proc Plague Fire either.

Lifedrinker is an aggro generator in PVE. Plague is ****(pve) since most DPS classes will be using it and it doesn't stack with other players enchants post-patch, plus its been nerfed on top of that. In PVP prob still would go with plague.

Briartwine is really meh - the return is just so low. Soulforged is a great synergy with Ferocious Reaction... And just a great *** saver if you happened to get spiked and are close to getting enough AP for Fighters Recovery or something..

    Weapon Enchants

Lifedrinker causes way more threat than the damage/healing it puts out (its not just about the pretty number's) and all weapon enchant its based off the % of your weapon.

Lighting can be good for packs but its tricky it can pull along way and HAMSTER of your group

Vorpal is pointless, we can't get enough crit.

Flaming is kinda ok, but isnt much on the dps side, but id dose produce a good amout of constant dps though the DOT

Bilethorn is like flaming but is higher dps and dot after 4 sec triggers doing a small amount of burst.

Frost has been fixed yet to re-test

    Armour Enchants

Negation is amazing the DR is great.

Soulforge is a waste on a GF, you rarely go below 25% hp unless your party is dead its hard to 1 shot a gf

Briartwine is great for tank, the extra aggro is useful but I find negation better

flaming/frost need to retest because of fixes

yeah I'm at the point where I need to invest in some of these. I though life drinker for the threat but seems that is no longer an issue. Sadly the heal is just too low to be noticeable.

I had not thought about negation and it is super cheap as well.

Soulforged, bad on a GF, this guy cracks me up.

Vorpal bad? It might be not worth the money if you don't aim for dps, but with timeless and a rogue buff we easily get over 30% crit chance, making a normal or greater Vorpal especially now that Plague Fire is nerfed quite a good dps chice.

Thing is someone still needs to use Plague Fire and well I think as a party GF it may as well be us. TR would benefit to switching to Vorpal far more than us.

I play PvE and so my comments are bias that way.
