After searching the forums it seems that there is a scourge warlock class there are posts showing screen shots of item drops for the class in beta and people have data mined them as well.
Personally I always play mage classes but I rather like blowing stuff up with fire and curses. Than ice and arcane like the CW, personally I find it kinda meh.
I am just kinda confused that you see a tiefling warlock with a pact blade in the intro yet you can't be one it looked so cool shooting fireballs out of his pact blade.
After playing it in neverwinter nights 2 it turned into my favorite class so I am wondering if anyone knows when it will be added? All I know that cryptic said the new class will be "ranged" but that could either mean ranger or warlock I would be rather sad if it was ranger.
But it is looking like that will be the case so does anyone have any more information on the warlock or what is going on with it?
Oo I like the sound of that..scourge warlock. Please do provide details on what it might be..
I have no idea of the D&D universe. What other races and classes were/are there that are not in game? Or maybe this question deserves its own thread? I'll create one
If you read the first page people say they found item drops for the class and if you look at the second page you see their paragon path hellbringer so the scourge warlock is an inferno pacted warlock(which is awesome)
Plus they had a podcast saying that archer ranger and scourge warlock are largely complete.
Plus here is there data mined dailys that someone found in beta.
Well, here's a list of datamined Scourge Warlock abilities (this is not final, it was in fact found a couple months ago and is all subject to change) to give you some ideas at least:
Well the topic I linked shows that its gonna be scourge warlock and the paragon path is going to be hellbringer according to the auction house screenshot.
So yeah I don't think we are getting Deceptive and we are going to be infernal pacted as well.

I see, although Hellbringer is not a paragon path of any class, Warlocks have three paragon paths: Doomsayer, Feytouched and Life-Stealer.

Arcane Power added Hellbringer. Odd choice for the first introduction of the class IMHO, but it's got fire, and fire is an easy thing to implement and distinguish it from the Control Wizard, which uses ice.
Want to know something funny?
My first clue wasn't the rumors of items people found or here say... Go look at the center area(in Enclave) where all those merchants are, see one booth that is "empty"? There is! One of the spots is left empty, an npc is missing but behind where he/she would stand, is a bunch of things like bookshelf and crates. The items in those are very much one of a warlock/necromancer type would carry.

Hm when I log in I am going to take a closer look at this.
personally would prefer deceptive warlock with fey pact and those powers but can't wait to play any warlock. Loved the warlock theme since 3.5e introduced them (and still think 3.5e warlock my favourite with tons of build options. strong but not broken. )

I wonder why people like fey pacted warlock prefered infernal personally and I am quite happy that the scourge is infernal pacted. We need some hellfire/fire magic in the game.
I havent seen any blade weapons in the current files (trying to d/l the ptr client to check) but I have seen wands. Cry must have taken out the lock and ranger abilities because I'm not seeing those either.
Open the Launcher. Click Options near the top. Check Disable on-demand patching. This will download another couple of gigs.
I honestly like Star Pact and Vestige Pact Warlocks. What with all the spellscared and abolethic monsters, the Star pact would kind of make as much sense as Inferno. No matter how much more likely the Inferno pact is.

Well its going to inferno according to the data from beta and the fact that the first warlock we see in the intro is inferno. Plus I don't know how you can twist a paragon path called hellbringer to fey or star.
I imagine they specifically released but disabled about 6 months or so of finished content so that every 2-3 months they could give us a new shiny, we know archer is end of the month drow end of next month so id estimate scourge warlock and dragonborn will be the following two "releases" probably also at end of their respective mounths. Ive also heard talk of a battlecleric/gnome being worked on The only reason we know about this stuff at all is someone hacked the piggs, by the time they come out im sure the pigs of the next 4 things will be released.

I still have an inkling that Fury of the Feywild will lead to fae-pacted warlocks...
It could easily be ranger and if it is indeed fey I will be extremely disappointed considering we really need a mage that uses fire spells and curses etc.
As I keep saying before I don't know can hellbringer can be linked with fey but we will see when they finally release the class.
I think its most likely infernal cause on the wiki it says that infernal warlocks require great constitution and scourge warlocks are normally infernal or star according to the wiki page.
While deceptive warlocks normally are fey pacted.
The main stat for scourge is con and the paragon path is hellbringer. Plus infernal also mainly use life steal next to fire which seems to match the data mined information from beta.
I'm not doubting that it will be Infernal pact, I just kind of wish we would be allowed choice in regards to our pacts. Sadly, that would take a fair amount of coding for each pact.

Still waiting on the dragon sorcerer, whose fire spells can burn things that are made of fire. I guess it would translate as a bonus to armor penetration in Neverwinter Online, since monsters don't care about damage type; you can kill trolls without using fire or acid, and radiant damage (most cleric powers) doesn't deal bonus damage against undead.
As for the scourge warlock, I was hoping it would be the star pact warlock (sold your soul to Cthulhu), but I guess we're getting the infernal pact (sold your soul to the Devil).

Scourge_Daily_AccursedSouls
Scourge_Daily_Broodofhadar
Scourge_Daily_Infectiouscurse
Scourge_Daily_Phelgethos
Scourge_Daily_Tyranicalcurse
Scourge_Enc_Dreadtheft
Scourge_Enc_Fireybolt
Scourge_Enc_Killingflame
Scourge_Enc_Vampembrace
Scourge_Atwill_Eldritchblast
Scourge_Shift_Shadowslip
Scourge_Curse
Plus if you look at character character and look at the tiefling they are holding a blade which is most likely a pact blade.
Looking at some of the other powers mentioned:
Eldritch Blast - a basic at-will. Does damage.
Vampire Embrace - Level 1 encounter, gives you temporary hitpoints if you are infernal.
Flames of Phlegethos - Level 1 daily, sets the target on fire for a while.
Fiery Bolt - level 3 encounter, single target damage. Also damages opponents who are near if you are infernal.
Didn't notice any of the others in the 4e books. And who knows how they will translate the spells into Neverwinter anyway.

Taking a break from Neverwinter indefinitely...
