Why, in my new t1 epic runs, do none of the CWs have singularity as one of their dailies? Is it left over from leveling? Am I missing something, because on my T2-geared rogue, the CWs i run with all use it constantly and it's awesome. Well, in my opinion it's awesome.

also, what is the name of "arcane singularity" in German and French? English speakers i have no issue with, I can just say "can you please not use ice storm and use singularity instead" but with the others I don't know the names of the skills.

would one of you kind german or french players help me out please?

guess i should level a CW and see if it really isn't awesome? lol

The majority of CWs going into T1s are actually JUST starting to learn the ins and outs of the class. It's a learning process. In a week or two, you should see the same CW completely transformed, if they are constantly trying to improve. And yes, you dont leave the Enclave without Singularity slotted.

It is a complete re-learning issue for CW. Literally, their class role changes from damage with a little bit of control while levelling to mostly control with a little bit of damage. This is why there are so many bad CW. Or perhaps to put it more kindly, when you see a good CW for dungeons you know it and want them on your Friends list just as much as any good Cleric!

It is so dramatic, that it can greatly affect your Ability Scores, Feats and even Powers. Of all the classes, CW is easily the most compelling reason there should be at least one free respec at level 60, including base Ability Scores.

Somewhat similar, but a greatly lesser extent, is true for Clerics prior to level 50. Their gameplay of their class is dramatically different before they get Astral Shield. When they get it many think they are gods, while they continue to level that last 10 levels. Some are stupid enough to post on the forums at "OPness" or even the lack of "fun" from gaining such a single powerful ability. Then all find that they can only just, if at all, survive solo healing level 60 epic dungeons.

The bad ones at that point turn to forums and start moaning about "aggro" or lack of self-healing and pretty much anything else you can think of. Thankfully, they normally bench their DC at that point. The good ones continue and actually research, try out their other spells, read guides and get tips from others, and eventually learn and adapt to find the gameplay is far more rewarding than they realised.

Why am I telling you all this? It is because for some reason, when CW's have to basically learn and change their entire class all over from scratch, it is expected and almost universally welcomed, even for those who spec for damage but still provide control. For some reason, when Clerics (on forums) have to do far less, the Universe is ending and the whole game needs to be changed...

TL;DR. The CW and DC you see in T2's, in general, have gone through this deeper than expected transformation. New 60's have not.

NOTHING pisses me off more, and I am a CW BTW, then some numpty using ( dont even recal its name as I QUIT using it long ago) the ice spikes that throw EVERYTHING in every direction? They do that even In a t1, your toast.. release, run back from camp fire, cause the adds will kill you, one at a time... a slow stupid death. And no, I am no pro, I'm learning my class now to, probalem is going into these t1s with these people, and NONE will listen to you. Believe me Ive tried...infact last run with 2 CWs me and another, she would use that about the time my AS was starting to bloom, and throw everything out and away... not once, but many times, with me typing at her to STOP using the **** thing. But, again, its a learning curve as with all classes from running quest solo, to grouping and having to help the group win... not yourself...............sorry I know this was about the diff languanges for the spell:0 I don't know french or German.
If I had to guess the german version would be something like this ..NIEN des icyspikey, usindasunberspell!
    [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

    "Sir, were now surrounded"!
Thats great news son, now we can attack from ALL sides"!

I'm not playing with the German client, but this should do it: "Bitte nicht Eissturm, sondern Singularitaet benutzen! Danke"

There's a difference between most CWs I've seen that go "oooooo big numbers I'm doing a great job" and those that actually know what the class is really capable of and their role in a group. I'll be honest, I didn't really understand till I started looking at builds and the ins and outs of the class. I'm only 35 but it's a start. In my opinion, around level 30, you should begin to start to understand the class a little bit and have a plan for what your going to do. if not, go look at what is available and figure things out. just my opinion on there.

called Ice Storm. It's a good ability for solo play and the first one your get. Makes a lot of big pretty numbers and with the knock back it's good when playing alone, especially at early levels. Not really a good second choice till you get Ice knife later, unless the dazing one is better. I tried it and found it lacking.

Well since you are doing T1 runs, I'm sure a lot of the people you group with will be "newbies".

    PVP - 100% Ice Knife
    Dungeons - 100% Arcane Singularity

I couldn't agree more with the OP, and I play a CW. It's especially maddening when I cast singularity and some other "fellow" CW uses Ice Storm, getting most mobs out of Singularity range. Tbh, at least up to the lvl I played (40ish) having two good CW in a party makes the difference between wipe or win, in a dungeon. Not to mention clerics being able to survive or getting overwhelmed by ads.

Quite simply PW needs to make most mobs immune to knock-backs in dungeons. Knock-backs add a lot to the cheese factor (throwing mobs off ledges) and "good" players won't use them outside of cheesing mobs off a cliff.
