Can I gift a mount to another player?

I was just wondering if there was any way at all that I could gift a mount to another player? I tried attaching my current mount to a message but it wouldn't allow me... So I was just wondering if there was any other way to do this? Thank you for any help you can provide. :)

So, I'm going to write the answer to this question here, even though it's solved, just for anyone else who may be curious about it in the future. If you buy a mount off of the AH and wish to gift it to another player, make sure you don't equip it first. :P
From there you should be able to pull it from your inventory and attach it in a mail message.

    Is your mount bound? that's probably why.
    My friend bought a mount in AH and mailed it to me last night, so yea I think you can gift.
    Just shy, not antisocial.
