I'm not positive if this is known or if it has been discussed yet, but I did a bit of searching and found nothing, so here goes:
I didn't notice this until the other day, though this had been discussed before. We weren't sure if you actually received the stat bonus indicated by the Charisma stat, but it was ignored. I actually decided to do the math behind it the other night and realized that Charisma actually isn't calculated for your pet's bonus stats.

The imgur album linked shows my stats and my pet's stats, we'll do the rest from that.
According to the picture, my pet has a base of 1,250 Power (for the sake of simplicity, I'm just going to use power) and my character is gaining a bonus of 1,350 on my character sheet. The extra 100 points are coming from the Eldritch rune socketed into my pet's defensive slot, but I'm sure you knew that. So let's do the math...
Bonus from Eldritch: 8%
Bonus from Charisma: 14%
Base Power: 1,250
Let's add the Eldritch to the base:
1,250*0.08=100
1,250+100=1,350
Let's try Charisma bonus now:
1,250*0.14=175
1,250+175=1,425
What if they're additive?
1,250*0.22=275
1,250+275=1,525
Multiplicative?
1,250*0.08=100
1,350*0.14=189
1,350+189=1,539
It's pretty obvious that the Charisma bonus isn't being calculated. I'm not sure if I've overlooked a reason for Charisma not to be calculated, but it's causing a lot of stat loss. If I messed up somewhere, I'm sure you folks will let me know ;D
