Zone exit can be blocked by a single person

Anyone else noticed that it seems a single person hesitating or deliberately stalling at a map zone exit can prevent that exit being used by anyone else?

We've just had this at Roche Valley.

An entire zone held hostage by one person, with no way out except buying scrolls to PE with AD from store...

    You could switch channels.

EDIT- Also from patch notes for balance changes:

Thanks for the workaround. I did not try it so, I would not know if it works. But I will next time.
