Only Rare Tasks For Professions?

Earlier today I was using the gateway to keep up with my profession tasks. Then I log into the game and now in the game and in the gateway, the only thing that will show up for me are rare tasks, which sometimes there are none of. Any help with this?

Note: I usually don't do Rare tasks because time wise they just aren't worth it or they ask for items I don't have and am not willing or able to acquire; I much prefer lower level basic profession tasks.

    ditto I logged out for less then a 2 mins to mail somthing and I came back now they are like that. Not only is it odd,but I was working on setting up crafting for the whole day... now I can't. :/

    This bug bit me today as well - same thing using gateway and also in-game and it doesn't matter how I set the filters - nothing shows except rare tasks which essentially means I can't work on any professions until this gets fixed or resolves itself...

    There is a workaround for this bug. Start a rare task and then cancel it. Your full task list should show up again. I don't know what to do if you can't do any of the listed rare tasks however.
