Celestial coin creation timer

So i started this thread in the off-topic thread but i think its a little more worthy of General discussion. This is the first post and then a clarification post i made to try to get everyone on the same page. lemme know what you guys think

Is it just me, or could all the character sheets really use a coin timer for 20 hour CD when you can make a new coin. I like trying to get that extra coin in every week and having to guess when exactly each different coin on each character is ready is a total pain, even if you try and time them all together and go in the same order, you still somehow manage to screw one of them up.

If I invoke at 12:20 pm and get my coins, and then keep playing and invoke several more times, there is no way to tell when the 20 hour timer on the coins themselves is up for me to create a new pair of coins. now in this theoretical universe 8:20 am the next morning is when i can make them, but life isn't perfect and when i change between accounts a little too fast, Invoke and DON'T get coins, you have to wait a full hour before you can invoke again. what I want is a cool down timer on the coins themselves to prevent this

Where is the mystery in that? The coins are claimed once every 24 hours, there is already a timer, its this huge burning gasball known as the sun.

Well, if you only invoke once a day, you can tell because there'll be 10 hours left (or less) on the clock.

Actually, like almost all Cryptic timers, a day is actually 20 hours.

This is true, however, with the expiration timer being 29 hours, you can still invoke according to a solar day, and still keep the timer on schedule

There is a timer for the Celestial Coins built into the UI. Hover your cursor over the rectangular "Counter". It will display the time you have between your last Invocation and the time expiring.

When you click logout or quit game you get popup notification.

Guys I Understand there is an expiration timer on celestial coins, a 30 hour timer that is reset every time you invoke. it has almost nothing to do with what I am getting at here. This thread is about a 20 hour timer that is specifically for when the two coins are made, that will reset only when you receive coins, to show you when you can make coins again. see what i am getting at?

You can invoke every 20 hours for the coins, you just are given 29 hours before they expire per invoke.

Expiration is a 29 hour timer that resets every time you invoke. That is true. They are talking about the timer to get new coins. That is on a 20 hour timer that resets every time you get a coin.

Personally, I just an alarm on my phone. Then when it goes off I invoke and then roll the hours back by 4 and then the minutes up by 2 for the next time.

So you have empirical proof that it is on a 20 hour timer then? Or just basing it on previous experience with other games?

The system could have been updated or changed. Time it for 20 hours and see if the timer resets.

Again, this Thread isn't for when you loose your coins its about when you can make new ones.

It hasn't been, The proof is everyone else here that is agreeing with me. the proof is also the multiple times I've made coins right after 20 hours. try it once before you start trying to slam people in open forum. I'm doing my best to try to keep everyone on topic i have confused numerous people with this post.

Day 1: Invoke at noon, get coins.

Day 2: Invoke at 8-9AM, get coins.

I've done this more than once.

yeah, but if you end up switching between accounts too fast, or any number of reasons really, there should be some account of this so we don't need to use our phone timers, that's a bit over the top IMO.

Im not slamming you at all and I am sorry you took it that way. Im the type of person who needs proof for things. If its 20 hours then thats that.

Would be nice for a timer, but really is it necessary? You have a timer for when they expire and you know when you invoked last so you could just figure it out manually.

I have as well and like I mentioned before, I keep a rolling alarm on my phone that reminds me every 20 hours (+2 minutes to make sure I don't invoke to quickly) to invoke so I can get my coins.

yeah but I am helping a friend who lost their computer as well, so between 2 accounts and 5 characters, there is a lot of room for error. each character knowing when they could make more coins would help immensely. and sorry you are like the 5th or 6th comment i've dealt with about the 20/30 hour timers (everyone seems to think its 29 because it starts running right away)
