Hi this is my first forum post and am only lvl 37 atm so things might change later on as a level but atm when doing dungens Like the Mad Dragon i find Agro to be a huge problem when it comes to healing. Look at the last boss in that dungen, Wave after wave spawn and i pretty much get 100% of all spawn agro. I have done this dungen a few times and never once lived to the end. I cant heal/dodge mobs/Dodge ground aoe/Dragon aoe all at the same time. Like i said am only lvl 37 but if this keeps up and becomes a trend in all dungens then i have to reroll cuz healing isnt fun like this

Upcoming patches are adjusting several things with all classes, including aggro.

Rumbleskin I feel your pain. I too had very similiar experiences trying to heal with the DC, particulary that dungeon and the last boss

Let's hope for some love for the DCs yeah?

It does look like threat is now spread out evenly among all living mobs in a dungeon fight so that might help...we'll see I plan to try to heal it again later today.

mad dragon is tough the problem is not within the adds damage but too many adds that capable on debuff, other similar hardcore to insane dungeon is Gray Wolf Den. some party choose to accompany by a higher level on any classon these 2 dungeons

With the upcoming changes you might as well shelve your cleric and pray your way to lvl 60.
In the mean time, play something more viable.
With the changes, that would appear to be something other than cleric.

+1 I guess they figured the class with non-existent DPS needed a heal nerf as we were too OP.

I'm only up to lvl 22 and I've always played a healer... I love that my group is getting heals from attacking a boss or mobs that I have put a debuff on and I have aoe heals, but when I want to throw a specific heal on the tank or another party member it gets difficult to do when everyone is in a cluster and I have to have them directly in my cursor sights... added in with the running from all the adds.

Maybe it will become easier with practice. Then I read on here how much "fun" healing is later in the game and, well...

The other funny thing is that it seems there is never a cleric in the group I'm in unless I am playing my cleric.

So I'll continue on and see how it goes. The joke of this game being F2P almost has me ready to go anyway. I'd rather pay a monthly fee than deal with the ridiculous zen bag and bank slots.

Not much. Some absurd stacking will be removed and people are having a hissy-fit about it. DC will still be a viable class.

Most of the changes will only impact you when you reach lvl 60, where things double in difficulty as you are doing epic dungeons. The changes directly impact survivability without a well honed group as they nerfed Astral Shield; specifically duration timers by a third which is the primary heal aoe at that level. Don't expect to do well in random groups you've never played with, but up to 60, you may not even notice a difference.

Astral Shield stacking nerf AND duration nerf.

Looks like the Devs hate the idea of groups wanting 2 DCs for Tier 2 so much that they decided to make it mandatory. Wait, what.........
