Hey folks, I'm working on a campaign, the first part of which I recently placed online. If you have a chance, please give this a whirl and give me some constructive feedback. The quest is not 100% completed/balanced, so if you see a place where there needs to be some changes, please post here and I'll update as needed.

This quest is entirely above-ground, meaning that it's tough to get a good feel on my own as far as balance and need to add-subtract encounters to make it feel full and engaging because I can't just funnel players the way a dungeon would.

I'm happy to review your Foundry quest in trade folks. I really could use some hits on my quest. The estimated time of completion is off. I need to see how balanced the last fight is.

I picked up your quest, but I also cannot figure out where to go. Not sure if this is the problem, but make sure that on your first map that you check the box to use the world transition. As of right now there is not a quest trail for me to follow. I cannot find anyone in the city to talk to pertaining to your quest and I see nothing on the world map that is related to your quest. I will check back later.

I found the quest giver. She is a young girl located at 672,828 on the map kind of in the North Western corner of The Protector's Enclave. I feel silly after I just edited my post to say that I also could not find it. It is strange that there was not any quest trail leading to her though. I would take another look as the quest creator to make sure that you have set it as a dialog in the Story tab so that the game recognizes it as a necessary quest component.

A fun little intro to your campaign. I want to STORM THAT CASTLE! Good balance between combat and dialog. Took a reasonable amount of time to complete (30 min give or take). Side note: Was a little challenging at parts for a solo player...bring portions!

I also liked that the road signs were used as travel transitions. Nice touch.

OK so things that I noticed could use some improvement.
Quest Markers:
1. The very beginning of the quest does not lead you to the Young Girl. This was frustrating as I tried to figure out if I was to speak with someone or just leave to go to a place on the world map.
2. Again during "Head Into the Forest" no marker. Maybe this one was intentionally that way, but I wasn't sure if I should follow the road into the forest or run off in another direction behind the village.
3. At the end there is no trail leading back to the exit to Protector's Enclave. Not a big deal since you can leave via the mini map at that point, but I wanted to mention it.

Monster Fights:
1. I loved the "Run For your Life" objective. Very fun, however, it was very difficult for me to solo. My poor companion is weak and not able to stand up to that leaving me all by my little lonesome. Certainly not too hard, but I wanted to let you know so you would have an idea. I am a 53 Cleric and I required a lot of potions at times.
2. The boss fight. These guys were very tough for me solo. Again it was doable, but required a lot of potions and running around.

Overall I really had fun and I will be looking for part two. I WANT TO STORM THAT CASTLE!!! Did I say that already?

Similar comments to pris - running for your life and the final boss fight were very tough to solo - I must have died 5 or 6 times! And when you die on the boss, all his adds respawn as well, gaa. Perhaps consider toning down the difficulty, or else advertising as a 2 man quest.
