Everytime I play a pvp match with a gwf on my team....

I wish I had a button on my keyboard that deleted every single one in the entire game.

Yep.. thats how totally useless and utterly crippling this class is.

Their use in any pug - is to suck up health pots - die with a ratio of 1kill to 10deaths and guarantee a lost battle.

Unless I stun/cc someone for them - they are never going to even land a hit.

This at level 60s? Cause the GWFs I see at 60 are absolute terrors.

    Takedown, Battlestrike, Flourish.

Knocked to the ground and hit for 5k damage, hit for 15k damage, then hit for 7k damage and stunned for 3 seconds as you try to get back up.

Not that the stun is needed, because you just got three shot and are now in the respawn que.

    gg.

I play a GWF at level 60, I may not always top the charts, but there are times I have the most kills, am at the top, and sometimes even the least deaths (oh and I never go after the potion, I'd rather just stand my ground :P ). It's not the most graceful class in PvP, but done with a little bit of thought, it's a fairly competent setup.

I'd like to hear the good gwfs opinion on whether or not cw's were deserving of the nerf they're getting. Personally, i can throw the kitchen sink at a lot of gwfs and they just keep truckin.

You can barely call that a nerf.

Not sure I agree with that. As a level 60 GF, I often see GWFs that are straight beasts, and am happy to team up with one for complete stun lock on anything we come across.

Well here is my opinion to agree with the OP. This holds true for about95% gwf's what I am about to say. GWF = Great While Fleeing. Period. 95% attack get blown up. run to a pot. run back get blown up run to a pot. over and over again. Then they only attack a helpless victum to get there 2 kills for the match.

    Now with this being said.

A great GWF can be OP just like any other character that is geared out in the right hands. So comes down to the player and gear. Just the basic fact is 95% of them in pug pvp are just really bad and live up to the Great While Fleeing GWF game play. I say it every game im in PvP. GWF = great while fleeing. I don't even run after them let them have there pots and be bad.

Personelly I would like this added to PvP. Instead of health pots each time it spawns it is a random buff. So that way healing isn't guaranteed. This would be better trying to get buffs rather then meaningless healing. I also think it would fix the Great While Fleeing gameplay some and others that rely on pots to get by.

    Just my thoughts.

I am a level 39 GWF with most of the stunlock combo in place. Last half a dozen PVP matches I have been somewhere between 3-10 kills and 0-1 deaths. I have been 1st or 2nd in points on my team and typically 1st. I usually just hold mid on domination with my cleric partner.

I am actually feeling a bit OP at the moment with the stun lock. Perhaps I am just at the upper cap of this level range in domination or the GWF buff is already in place - but regardless I feel pimp and unbeatable.

You will get blown up latter and be forced to run to pots non stop not helping your team. Unless you are in the 5% that don't use the Great While Fleeing tactic. I 3 shot gwf's a lot they get no attack off most classes can do that. Unless they can tank some and have deflection. and know there class and are very well geared.

Just not my personal experience with the class. I copied the stun lock GWF build with a youtube video up. Before that I found it way way too hard to stay on a person and apply damage. Now it's the exact opposite, I take huge chunks of your life while you are stunned then use sprint to close the gap between stuns. Because you are forced to stay on the cap point to win domination, if you run and it's not tactically correct to chase you for a kill I don't.

I just think you are playing with shiddy GWF players that have the wrong build and cannot play a skill class. I guess a GWF takes a bit more finesse than something like a CW because it's harder to apply damage. That said, I am having no trouble racking up kills and wins myself.

I don't know what class you play but I promise you I have seen an absolute diabetes HAMSTER play almost every class.

GWF can own TR's and CW in a match, I think ALL classes because of its crazy skills.

Give me an explanation to this.

If GWF is a useless class for you, why Cryptic released the GWF class to use?

This comes back to you as a player not knowing your class then doing some research and having great results. This is what you are supposed to do !!!! I say kudos to you!! The problem is... are you ready... most players don't do this. They just suck especially at GWF. Then they use the Great While Fleeing tactic that annoys there team. So you are in the 5% of non bad GWF. Most 95% are just not watching this video. As a GWF maybe do a justice and help them learn post that vid so we can get the other Great While Fleeing GWF's to not be bad.
