New Foundry Content

For those of you who haven't read or don't want to read the patch notes for the next major version, here are the foundry relevant bits:

Foundry
  • Audio now works properly after projects are published.
  • Deleting items no longer potentially causes a crash.
  • Many Illusionary objects have been added to the Foundry.
  • Inspect Object objectives are now available on Cryptic maps.
  • Interact Text and Interact Animation tasks now take the author to the correct editor.
  • More Behaviors have been added for NPCs, generally dealing in non-combat behavior.
  • Projects with room doors set to "This Component Complete" as a hide condition have been fixed up so they no longer have that condition.
  • The buttons on the project dashboard now link properly to the listed sites.
  • The Review popup after completing a Foundry quest is now more difficult to accidentally close.
  • The "Sneak Peek" reviewer achievement now properly unlocks.
  • Well-Informed contacts now properly show the correct estimated playtime of Foundry quests.
  • Several stability improvements to the Foundry have been implemented.

    nice. finally some good patches for the foundry.

    The sound fix, illusionary objects and behaviors interest me in particular.. hope we get the folded arms stance now and some fake walls etc!

    Nothing about improving the ingame Foundry content browser though :( like adding category tags and so on. It's got to the stage now where the 'for review' section crashes the game whenever I look at it.

    What I'd really like to see is a sort of daily recommended foundry quest box with 10 randomly selected quests with low review counts. My first quest has had few reviews and plays despite being given overwhelmingly positive feedback from the people who had reviewed it. Shame that the search features aren't better, my first quest is destined to forever languish at the bottom of the pile.

    What I'd really like to see is a sort of daily recommended foundry quest box with 10 randomly selected quests with low review counts. My first quest has had few reviews and plays despite being given overwhelmingly positive feedback from the people who had reviewed it. Shame that the search features aren't better, my first quest is destined to forever languish at the bottom of the pile.

    That's a good idea, it would help save some of the quests that get buried by the featured ones.

    I was kind of hoping we would have switches (levers) and movable walls rather than fake walls, but I suppose something is better than nothing :)
