Knight's Captain set issue

Although the 4 set bonus of the Knight's Captain set says "gives you 60% strength and 25% defense", the group gets the buff and you do not. Is this a bug or working as intended with a misprint on the 4 piece description? I find it a bit odd that my own buff does not apply on myself.

    It does to apply to your self. Just tested it last night. Go to the pvp room and try it on the dummies.

    Check your stats. It is applied to you.

    Tested many times, it does not apply to you but does to every other party member.

    Weird. My power was increased to 8k last night when I tried it after I got the helm.

    So, if what you say is true and you got the buff from your armor, then one or more of the following must be true:
    1) The buff is being applied to some but not all of the actual people wearing the armor.
    2) The buff is being applied to party members when it should not.
    3) The description on the armor set is wrong.

    If what you are saying is not true and the strength increase was from another unknown source, then either:
    1) Buff is not being applied like the description states.
    2) Description of the buff is completely wrong and needs correction.


    Something is wrong and I am hoping a dev can clarify this for me.

    Nope you're right I'm wrong. Just tried it multiple times and it didn't trigger. Not sure what I was seeing.

    Today's patch makes this question even more relevant.
