Devs idea about endgame

I'm playing the game, i'm enjoying it. So, everything is good, nothing wrong? Not at all.
I'd like to know devs idea about what endgame is. I really would receive an answer by devs about this.
Do u really think people can play this game for a huge period and no annoying, farming a few dungeons for items?
What about people who played an endgame like this and completed the equip? How can they enjoy the game between an update and an other one when no more stuffs to farm and things to do?
So, Devs, here th question: how do u imagine to create a cool endgame, based on high longevity, that grants people to play the game for a long period? It cannot be ok if people partecipate dungeons till they finish the equip. After that no more to do, just leave the game.
An answer could be very very interesting

Maybe instead of crying about no endgame, people should play the game. All I see when I join a T2 dungeon is people doing silly things to skip content. Those people better buy their stuff from AH and be done with it.

Foundry. There's something new every day, and the quality is higher than in STO because most of these people have been creating similar content for their gaming group every Thursday night for years.

Yep see it too, running through traps skipping everything but the bare necessities and at the end of the run crying about lack of content. Foundry authors offer up quest with deep story and some really nice dungeon mechanics and they get OMGzor too long Need More XP nowz!!!!! I hpe u diee!!" as a review.

Simple fact is they have more than they deserve already.

I think Emal has put a good question. To be clear if i want to play a RPG session, i will play with a bunch of friend a PnP session. This is an MMO and like a MMO it need an endgame content!
Is ok to have a foundry system, but why i should play? just for the fun? no way, read above. For the reward? what reward?
Maybe a system in which a foundry creator is awarded (free zen?) and is urged to create a better content with a ranking system (weekly updated so highest rank=more zen?) and in which a player is awarded with a powerful (=purple) item (mabye inlaid by devs? Maybe a set available only in the foundry?) I Think the Foundry has a great potential but atm is an unfulfilled potential. IMO doest reward neither the creator neither the players that spend hours playing..

On the Endgame side imo is silly think a player doesnt annoying himself after he got all stuff he wants from a dungeon. Why he should keep to play the content? I think a reward system like this we have seen is a little (just to use an euphemism) undersized.
Let me explain. I call this rewarding system "All or Nothing". I (I call myself like the average player) play the dungeon (mostly in the DD hours cause I have a guaranteed loot), I play that dungeon 1, 10 (50?) times and finally find the piece of set I need. DONE!
Why i should farm more that dungeon? 100 times Spellplague o KArrundax or even CN just for the shards? no woth the effort... i just put the drops i dont use in the AH and buy the shards i need... In this way i think the player is frustrated if for X times he runs the same Dungeon and never drops the item he needs and when it drops there's no more reason to run it!
I think a system I call "Upgrade syst" provides a better longevity to the endgame, in which the base loot is still upgradable in a way better item of the base drop (maybe with drakes, 100? 1000?),and in which every time the player sees to be closer to the goal.
I dont think the actual enhancement/shards are a big improvement to the item or however between a lesser and a greater or even a perfect, there isnt that big gain that justifies an endless farm).

Sorry for the WT and sorry for the Maccaroni English
    My 2 cents
