Whats the 1st thing I have to do to my gear without spending much AD? Did everyone who just hit 60 use glory to purchase epic sets for GS to go to t1 dungeon?
and one more, do specific dungeons drop specific epic? or any dungeon can drop any epic armor like spell weaver set etc.
see previous threads
i think there are guides regarding these already

I've browsed through the library all of guides for CW, and those are guides for pvp or pve gaming etc, Im looking for tips about something that helps you start out as a fresh lvl 60 player
Play PVP to get enough glory to buy the PVP gear.
It will boost your gearscore ALOT.
You can get a rather cheap weapon on the AH (Burning Shard of elemental fire, i got mine for ~12k ad), but the PVP orb is fine aswell.
Farm T1 dungeons for seals to buy rings/amulet/offhand from the seal vendor.
The queue tab displays what kind of items the dungeons can drop. Just read the dungeon description.
Shadow weaver armor can only drop in the temple of the spider dungeon for example.

great help, thanks! btw, what enchantments do you suggest on a PVE instance basis for defensive slot? is hp/def stone viable?
I just got my full PVP epic gear but havnt slotted any stones yet

Hello, I have a similar question and didn't want to open another thread for it.
I've done the things mentioned above, so I have the full PvP set and the Accessories for Unicorn Seals. My GearScore is now about ~7700, so not enough to join T2 dungeons yet (they need 8200). My primary question is: How do I get there?
I have to add 2 things to this.
First, my shirt and pants are not changed, so they are still the ones from the beginning. But since even the green shirt and pants you can get via crafting have maybe ~60 Power and ~60 Defense, I can't imagine this would boost my GS by enough.
Second, I don't have any enchantments attached yet. So I think this would maybe give me the required GS for T2 dungeons. But this leads me to the following question:
Is it then GS wise even worth it doing T1 dungeons for the gear (Archmage, Fatebender, Focal Magi, ...)?

me too, but Ive ready that they say stack lvl 5 enchantments on armors for boost to 8.3k and start farming t2 dungeon, and yeah I dnt knw if farming t1 dungeon is a viable option since I already got full set of gladiator, but there's nothing else to do if I don't farm t1 for stuffs to boost my GS score
thats what i did, i did the pvp. got my GS up and slotted with rank 5 enchants as they boost ur GS tons! i hit 9k gs no probs doing this (with a couple of items from a T1 and a piece i got from the seal vendor) then start farming T2s

Get shirt and pants, the green once for lvl 50 will boost your gearscore quite a bit. Put enchants in your armor. For offensive slots armor pen (dark enchants) are best if you don't want to play pvp, but they are quite expensive. Since you have like 5 offensive slots and only 2 defensive, i would fill those offensive before you think about the defensive once (having more offensive stats is better than having a bit more hp/def in my eyes)
T1 gear wont increase your gearscore over the PVP gear as far as i know. So there is no need to do t1 dungeons but to farm seals/ necklace rings/belts.

Depends on your play style. Some people say load up on Recovery to recharge your encounter spells faster, which in long pve and dungeon delves increases your overall damage output dramatically. A set of recovery is a good idea for T2 runs. Some say put crit so each hit has a better chance to crit, doing double damage, but slower recasts. Great for T1, foundry, general PVE grinding, and even PVP. A set of crit gear is good to have too. Again, depends on your play style.

From my experience, T1 gear is slightly better than pvp gear. You may have noticed there is no crit on your pvp gear. Get at least two pieces of the Focal Magi gear, I recommend the chest piece and one other, to not only get their crit, but the crit bonus for two pieces. That way, you keep the two piece bonus from both the Focal Magi set and the PVP set, and your gear score will push up into 9k.

yeah maybe depends on playstyle, I prefer to focus on controlling mobs for the parties safety rather than dishing out MASSIVE damage which is basically the TRs job, although extra damage wont hurt.
I tried the combo set of gladiator it seems pretty bad, it says -25% coold on mastery skill, my EF CD is 11sec on normal, when equipping pvp set it becomes 10.9, same goes with my ice ray 11.5 CD down to just 11.3

I enchanted my Offensive Slots with Rank 5s and got a boost of ~600 GS of it. So I'm now over 8300 GS and can do T2 dungeons. :-)

I had the feeling it doesn't really work, too. But how did you measure the time this accurate?
