So I was super excited when I went to go look at the pvp armour. I can become super powerful now! But as soon as I saw the armour, I faced palmed at how crappy it is.
I have talked to several rogues, and they all agree with me. We love the game...but you devs do not know what you are doing armour wise for rogues. If I were to buy all the pvp armour for rouges. I would gain...
+443 crit
+1400 armor pen
to my current build. And some might say...well SForces...that's AWESOME...1400 armour pen why are you complaining!!!
Because this is what I would lose
-494 power.
and some of you might say well. its only power look at what you would gain!!
Yeah I gain less crit than i lose in power.
For those of you who dont play rogue or know anything about us. There are 2 builds we thrive on.
The popular one is Crit + Power
The second one is Power + Armour pen
Any rouge that tells you they would gladly throw away power for armour pen..is not a veteran at mmos. (obviously depending on the amount. throwing away 50 power for 500 armour pen is a good deal)
Now I understand you devs may not have known about what builds would be gained, however the armour needs to be changed. I dont even do quests anymore because none of the rewards come even close to my build.
The agreed upon build for rouges is Crit + power OR Armor pen + Power. And to be honest i RARELY see rogues with armour pen to begin with.
I understand some may say, Well if we gave you crit + an additional lets say...500 power... you would be even more overpowered than you are now!
I don't think that is likely at all. Are rogues powerful? yes. However if every level 60 rogue chose this armour...they would become weaker.
And for those complaining rogues are over powered...try fighting a control wizard with them. That wizard will throw you...freeze you...dash away etc. Rogues are not the OP one of the classes.
The point of this thread? The armour for rogues in this game is <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>. At least from the vender stand point. Why tell me to pvp to get honor and buy epic pvp gear!! when all of the pvp gear is <font color="orange">HAMSTER</font>.
