Low damage, gear help?

So I recently started playing my rogue again and.. my damage is really low. I do about ~10k lashing blade from stealth which I think is quite bad compared to other rogues. Looking around the forums it seems ArP is the best stat to stack, but in general, a lot of my gear is pretty bad. Any tips?

Also, Plague fire or Vorpal?

First off, are you looking for PVP advice or PVE advice?

If it's PVP what you're worried about, you need ArPen. If it's PVE, then the fact you know a lot of your gear is pretty bad means you already know the answer, which might be gear based, but I don't play much PVE so I don't know. For PVP though, im sure getting ArPen would boost your damage in the Arenas.

At a glance (so pardon me here) ---

    - cha builds take better gear in general than str builds. Your str is very low....
    - armor pen is important in pve too. PVP more, as you face off 3 classes with tough armor (clerics and both fighters) but plenty of mobs have good armor too.
    - your powers and feats --- cannot really say since we can't see them, but there could be a disconnect in there

I play my rogue strictly for PvP, so PvP advice would be appreciated. How much ArP should I be looking for?

I rolled my rogue's stats at random before looking at any guides, kind of my fault there.

My powers and feats are basically the same as Luna's TR guide with some modifications. I can post them later when I get online.

I feel its circumstantial, PVE it ranges from 10k to 40k...so I feel pvp might be similar

So, just general gear improvements and more ArP?

Definitely more ArP if you're looking for effectiveness in PVP. I like balancing Power, Crit and ArP for PVP. So making them even is a way to start.

I would also consider taking 5 points out of your bottom set of feats and move them up to the middle set to get the skill (sorry, names do not stick for me) that does more damage on NON CRIT hits. Look at it this way... 60% or more of your hits are not crits for most rogues, a few have pushed it over 50% but in a nutshell, half or more of all attacks are not crits. Adding 20% damage to those is significant. Whatever you are getting from the extra 5 in execution tree, probably does not add as much damage as 20% more on half of all your attacks period!

Hate to say it but those stats are too generalized. If you want to max/min, a re-roll may be in order. Its perfectly playable, just not optimal -- and you will always be a little lower dps than tweaked builds.
