Dungeon Queues and wasting my time

for the last 4 days I have attempted to run Epic dungeons during Delves. I log in, I queue for dungeons when Delves begins and I wait. Sometimes its fast, other times I wait for half an hour. We start to do the dungeon, all is well till someone dies, then they leave in a fit of rage. As someone has left other people feel the dungeon wont be possible anymore, so they also leave, so then you all end up leaving and queueing all over again. Rinse and repeat.

Not only this, but a lot of the "groups" I am offered a place in when I queue are incomplete groups, meaning a proper full party of at least 1 tank and 1 healer with 3 other randoms, all entered said dungeon, but then the tank or the healer randomly left before anyone began to kill mobs. This then causes the queue system to add another random person to this group - not necessarilly what the group even needs, thus creating a never ending cycle of people joining and leaving the group, and forcing people to queue over and over again only to be placed in groups of this nature. Im TIRED of this. In 4 days I have attempted to participate in a minimum of 8 Delve events, and am yet to actually get to complete a dungeon in this time.

PLEASE can some work be done on the dungeon queue system to prevent this never ending cycle of wasting every bodys' time?

Its extremely frustrating to spend an hour in an Epic dungeon, only to have someone leave before the end boss, and then you are unable to replace them.

It is also frustrating to be constantly offered a place in a group that starts out having no tank or no healer but 3 Control wizards and a Trickster Rogue, with that line up constantly changing as people leave the group to re-queue and the queue keeps inviting another player into the mix.

Id like to run dungeons. Id like the chance to open a chest and get some gear for my character, but the way things are now I dont even feel like playing at all as it has become a huge waste of my time.

It's even funner when the queue puts you in the same group that kicked you for not being the cleric they want, 5 times in a row.

You want even more fun? Try being a GWF and getting kicked ANY TIME you manage to get into a dungeon group. This is TOTALLY out of control.

I'm a GWF, do fine. Get some gear I guess. I got mine with hard work, no cash involved. I agree the GWF needs some boosting, it's been beaten into the ground since before open beta, but you can work it if you know how.

I've been kicked on my GWF before they even have an opportunity to evaluate my gear. Many teams simply don't want GWFs or GFs by the time you're aiming for T2 dungeons....

It almost feels like a pity-invite when a team finally does accept a GWF...

Its common knowledge that melee units unless involved with a quality guild or a real life party currently cant access T2 dungeons and most end game PvE content is simply unavailable to them. A large portion of the player base is awaiting the new patch to see if playing a melee unit equates to accessing T2 game content. As for me it all rides on this, ill either spend the $200 that's burning a hole in my leg or be done entirely. Well see....

This is getting ridiculous. They really need to address this.

Show me a game where PUG groups work well ? Like always your only chance of a good pug run is some guild Q's down one guy .

best bet is to get a group in zone chat and Q with a full group . It might not always go well , but generally it is smoother then just random PUG .

So far the longest I've had to wait for a pug with my Guardian Fighter has been five minutes, and that was once. Why? Because I'm in a decent guild. If I'm pugging it's because we need one or two, not because we need four.

    Join a guild.

Only had one group disband immediately, and that was because there were four Guardian Fighters. I'd have left it myself if somebody hadn't beaten me to it. :)

My PUG's have worked well in my experience (up to level 46 as a CW). 3 attempts at killing Marrowslake failed, but that mfer is a tough boss. Otherwise, lots of success.

However the wait is brutal. I waited 2 hours for Pirate King dungeon last night then just logged off. How the heck does nobody want to run this in a span of TWO HOURS?

there appears to be some group leaders who just troll the queues, kicking everyone who joins and wastes my time. and no I'm not a GWF or other useless class so it's not that. some people just trolling.

this needs to be addressed. for a private group I'm fine with having a "leader" who can kick etc. but for public/pug queue system everything needs to be done with votes so 1 griefer doesn't end up wasting everyone's time, forcing to re-queue for an hour etc..
